VIRTUAL PROP CONTROL METHOD AND APPARATUS, COMPUTER DEVICE, AND STORAGE MEDIUM
This application discloses a virtual prop control method performed by a computer device, and a storage medium. In this application, a controlled virtual object is sheltered by equipping the controlled virtual object with a movable virtual shelter prop, so as to avoid the controlled virtual object being directly exposed in a virtual scene and being attacked by other virtual objects. Moreover, the virtual shelter prop is capable of moving with the controlled virtual object. When the controlled virtual object runs, jumps, etc., the virtual shelter prop may also play a role in defending against an attack, thereby effectively improving the security of the controlled virtual object in competitive battles and improving the user experience. In addition, the controlled virtual object is capable of erecting a target virtual prop at a reference position of the virtual shelter prop held by the controlled virtual object to launch an attack against other virtual objects.
Apparatus and method of video playback
A method of video playback includes obtaining a 3D reconstruction of at least part of an environment, obtaining video footage of an activity within that at least part of the environment, obtaining data indicating a position and orientation of a first camera within the at least part of the environment that recorded the obtained video footage, and rendering a view of the video footage in alignment with a corresponding view of at least part of the 3D reconstruction, responsive to the position and orientation of the first camera within the at least part of the environment.

System and method to convert two-dimensional video into three-dimensional extended reality content
System and method are provided to detect objects in a scene frame of two-dimensional (2D) video using image processing and determine object image coordinates of the detected objects in the scene frame. The system and method deploy a virtual camera in a three-dimensional (3D) environment to create a virtual image frame in the environment and generate a floor in the environment in a plane below the virtual camera. The system and method adjust the virtual camera to change a height and angle relative to the virtual image frame. The system and method generate at an extended reality (XR) coordinate location relative to the floor for placing the detected object in the environment. The XR coordinate location is a point of intersection of a ray cast of the virtual camera through the virtual frame on the floor that translates to the image coordinate in the virtual image frame.

Systems and Methods for Controlling Camera Perspectives, Movements, and Displays of Video Game Gameplay
In a multiplayer video game, virtual cameras are controlled by continually assessing and ranking storylines relating to the interactions of various players during a game session. A ranking for each storyline may be based on various factors such as, but not limited to, what the players can see, the distance between certain players, nearby game items or in-game. Subsequently, at least one virtual camera is navigated to provide a view of the highest-ranking storyline, subject to certain limitations on how the camera can move, transition, or otherwise display the interactions between players. In embodiments, a set of rules including rules of cinematography, are used to provide additional control of the movement of the virtual camera. In embodiments, movements of a human camera-person are used on a mocap system to control the movement of the virtual camera.

INFORMATION PROCESSING DEVICE, INFORMATION PROCESSING METHOD, AND INFORMATION PROCESSING PROGRAM
An information processing device for drawing an object arranged in a three-dimensional virtual space, in an expression viewed from a virtual camera, the object including a field object associated with a two-dimensional plane defined by a first axis and a second axis, and a specific object arranged on the field object, the device including: a change processing unit changing a region of the field object falling within a viewing angle of the virtual camera; and a deformation processing unit deforming the field object, in which in a case where the region is changed by the change processing unit, the deformation processing unit makes a deformation mode of the field object different when it is determined that the specific object is positioned in the region after being changed and when it is determined that the specific object is not positioned in the region after being changed.

Game system, game system control method, computer-readable non-transitory storage medium having game program stored therein, and game apparatus
Operation data is acquired from either a first type of controller having a plurality of operation sections or a second type of controller having fewer operation sections, and a game process is performed. When the first type of controller is used for game operation, a selection item is switched in a forward direction for a plurality of items arranged in a predetermined order, in accordance with an operation on a first operation section, and the selection item is switched in a reverse direction in accordance with an operation on a second operation section. In addition, when the second type of controller is used for game operation, the selection item is switched in the forward direction in accordance with an operation on a third operation section of the second type of controller. Then, a UI image including these items is generated.
