A repeating crossbow having a pump-action reloading mechanism. The crossbow includes an elongated body with a shooting track and a holding chamber configured to house one or more projectiles. A hatch is coupled to the body and configured to move between a first position aligned with the shooting track and a second position at least partially aligned with the holding chamber. A palm rest is slidingly connected to the elongated body. Sliding the palm rest in a rearward direction causes the hatch to move from the first position into the second position. A biasing member within the holding chamber ejects a projectile onto the hatch. Sliding the palm rest in a forward direction to return to its default position causes the hatch to return to its first position, bringing the proj ectile into alignment with the shooting track.

A player shoots the arrow from the starting location with the bow, to a second location closer to the finishing location, retrieves the arrow at the second location, and shoots the arrow toward the capturing apparatus from the second location.

An assembly for launching toy projectiles is disclosed. The assembly includes a left wing having a left elastic support, a right wing having a right elastic support, a central region between the left wing and the right wing, and a pair of launching elements extending continuously from the left elastic support to the right elastic support. The launching elements pivot about the left and right elastic supports when drawn. When drawn, the launching elements stretch in parallel over a launch region to produce energy to launch a toy projectile. When released, the launching elements retract in parallel about the launch region to launch the toy projectile. A handle extends downwardly from the central region. An arm support extends outwardly from the central region and away from the handle. The arm support engages a user's arm to stabilize the toy projectile assembly while drawing and releasing the launching elements.

A gaming device for use in a laser tag game comprising a bow shaped body, a string coupled to a pair of arms, and an infrared emitter coupled to the bow shaped body. The infrared emitter is configured to generate an infrared beam when the string is pulled away from the bow shaped body and returned to its original static position. The device may further comprise omnidirectional infrared receivers, flex sensors, lights, speakers, or vibration motors. In other embodiments the gaming device may further comprise a battery, a charging, one or more trigger buttons, one or more control buttons, a display screen, microprocessors, and a wireless transceiver. In other embodiments the infrared emitter comprises a lens and an infrared LED. In other embodiments the gaming device may further comprise a quiver device configured to permit a user to reload shots during the game.
