EMBEDDING OBJECTS IN CASTINGS
An apparatus for embedding objects in castings made in batch includes a base comprising a plurality of cavities for molding, each cavity corresponding to an item to be molded; a framework comprising a plurality of gripping mechanisms for suspending objects from the framework into the cavities for embedding the objects within the molded items, each gripping mechanism being configured to release a respective object upon actuation; and, a lifting mechanism transitionable for effecting actuation of the plurality of gripping mechanisms such that objects suspended by the gripping mechanisms are released. A method of casting includes partially filling a plurality of cavities with a liquid; suspending objects from a framework; simultaneously partially sinking the objects into the liquid in the cavities; releasing the objects from the framework after at least partially hardening of the liquid; and fully immersing the objects with the liquid.
ROUNDED DICE
The proposed is a rounded dice with multiple faces. Proposed dice provide a better rolling experience to the user/player participating in the game of dice. According to an embodiment of the proposed invention, the rounded dice comprises a hollow dice body configured to have a plurality of faces, each face is provided with an identifier for play purposes like in role-playing games or DND dice games; a plurality of pins extending outward from the dice body and facilitating the dice to stop rolling excessively; and a plurality of links, each link connects two pins of the plurality of pins.
Methods and systems for designing and manufacturing mathematically fair N-sided dice
Methods and systems for designing and manufacturing a mathematically fair N-sided die are disclosed. An example method can comprise selecting an irregular polyhedron to serve as a die, and determining a center of mass of the selected irregular polyhedron die. In an aspect, a size of each face of the irregular polyhedron can be selected such that a solid angle subtended by each face from the center of mass of the selected irregular polyhedron can be equal. In an aspect a system comprising an injection molding apparatus can be used to form the die.
DICE AND METHOD OF MAKING SAME
Transparent dice with a void therein filled with a liquid and/or visible matter, so that an entertaining visual aspect is visible through portions of the dice, when the dice are shaken, rolled or otherwise moved. Electronic gaming die
An electronic gaming die includes an enclosure, a flexible substrate, a number of light emitting diodes, a sensor, a processor and a battery. The enclosure has N sides where N is equal to or greater than 4. The flexible substrate folds into N sides and fits into an interior of the enclosure, wherein each side has an inner face, an outer face and is assigned an integer from 1 to N. The light emitting diodes are disposed on the outer face of each side of the flexible substrate, wherein the number of light emitting diodes equals the integer assigned to the side of the flexible substrate. The sensor, processor and battery are disposed on one of the inner faces of the flexible substrate.
