Edgelit light guide device with prisms forming first and second sub patterns
A display includes a light guide plate having an incident edge surface and an output surface; a plurality of light sources arranged opposed to the incident edge surface; and a plurality of prisms arranged in a main pattern on a surface, each prism having a reflective surface configured to reflect light from any of the plurality of light sources towards the output surface. A curvature of the reflective surface of a first prism arranged in a first sub-pattern of the main pattern, is different from a curvature of the reflective surface of a second prism arranged in a second sub-pattern of the main pattern.
Display device including a protective layer having a diffusion layer and gaming machine having the same
A display device according to one or more embodiments may include a lightguide plate comprising a transparent part, and an incident surface, the lightguide plate configured to display at least one pattern; and a light source facing the incident surface. The lightguide plate may include a plurality of prisms on a surface of the lightguide plate, the plurality of prisms being arranged along the at least one pattern to reflect light emitted from the light source and entering the lightguide plate through the incident surface out of the lightguide plate through an emission surface of the lightguide plate, and a transparent protective layer covering at least a part of the emission surface, the protective layer having a smaller refractive index than the lightguide plate.
DISPLAY DEVICE AND GAME MACHINE
A display is disclosed that may include: a light guide plate having an incident surface; and light sources arranged opposed to the incident surface. The light guide plate may include a plurality of prisms arranged in a pattern on a surface on one side and may have a reflective surface configured to reflect light from any of the plurality of light sources incident into the light guide plate from the incident surface, to be emitted from an outgoing surface on another side of the light guide plate. A curvature of the surface on one side of the reflective surface and of a first prism arranged in a first sub-pattern included in the pattern among the plurality of prisms is different from a curvature of the surface on one side and of a second prism arranged in a second sub-pattern.
DISPLAY DEVICE AND GAMING MACHINE
Dual function kaleidoscope
A kaleidoscope has an inside scaffold that allows the kaleidoscope to be used as both a toy and packaging for merchandise. The kaleidoscope preferably has a body with a chamber at one end that includes freely movable ornaments. A cap having an eyehole is configured to matingly close the body. Inside the body, three or more reflective surfaces are positioned at an angle to each other to form a polygon. The scaffold is disposed in the body, surrounded by the reflective surfaces, and has a cross-sectional shape sized and dimensioned to prevent the scaffold from moving or rotating relative to the reflective surfaces. Preferably, the scaffold has a polygonal cross-sectional shape substantially similar to the polygon formed by the reflective surfaces. A product (e.g., a lipstick) can be stored inside the scaffold without being able to move freely inside the kaleidoscope.
Gaming table assembly
A gaming table assembly for entertainment includes a plate and a mirror. The plate is substantially transparent. The mirror is shaped substantially complementarily to the plate. A first frame is coupled to a perimeter of the plate. A second frame is coupled to a circumference of the mirror. A plurality of legs is coupled to and extends between the first frame and the second frame. The legs are configured to support the first frame and the second frame on a horizontal surface with the first frame positioned distally from the horizontal surface and the mirror facing upwardly. A plurality of multifaceted gaming pieces is configured to position on the plate so that a respective facet of each multifaceted gaming piece is positioned in contact with the plate. The mirror is positioned to view the respective facet so that the respective facet is incorporable into a game.
