Apparatus, System and Method for an Electronically Assisted Chessboard
An electronic chess set includes a plurality of conductive chess pieces, a chessboard having a playing surface including a plurality of individually identifiable locations visible to a user on the chessboard, and an electronic system including a capacitive sensing system. In some embodiments, the capacitive sensing system is configured to determine for each of the plurality of individually identifiable locations: when a chess piece included in the plurality of conductive chess pieces is located at a respective one of the plurality of individually identifiable locations and user-contact with the chess piece is absent; when the chess piece located at the respective one of the plurality of individually identifiable locations is in contact with the user; and when each of the plurality of conductive chess pieces is absent from the respective one of the plurality of individually identifiable locations.
SMART SPINDLE WITH REPLACEABLE BATTERY, AND SMART RUBIK'S CUBE
Disclosed are a smart spindle with a replaceable battery, and a smart Rubik's cube. The smart spindle comprises a core, a sensor and a main control module, wherein the core comprises a housing with a cavity; the main control module is mounted inside the cavity; the sensor is electrically connected to the main control module; the sensor is mounted at the core; the cavity is also used for mounting a battery, the housing is provided with a notch for having access to the battery, and the notch is in communication with the cavity; or, the exterior of the housing is used for mounting the battery, and the housing is provided with a through hole, such that the cavity is in communication with the exterior of the housing via the through hole. When the power for the smart Rubik's cube is insufficient, a player can remove the used battery and replace same with a fresh battery, such that the smart Rubik's cube can continue to be used immediately, without the need to perform charging and the need to stop use for a period of time, thereby facilitating the use by the player.
BOXING GAMING DEVICE
The present invention provides a gaming system for playing a boxing inspired game. The gaming device includes two vests that communicate with each other and keep score via wireless technology. The game is played by two players at a time with the general objective being for a player to hit their opponent's vest as many times as possible within the designated time period. The device allows players to engage in three different modes. Score tracking is announced by audio and does not require any additional devices for viewing the score.
Game controller and game system
A first control unit includes a first operation data generation section for generating first operation data in accordance with a motion of a first control unit body included in the first control unit. A second control unit includes a second operation data generation section for generating second operation data in accordance with a direction input operation performed by a player or a motion of a second control unit body included in the second control unit. Further, one of the first control unit and the second control unit includes a transmission section for transmitting the first operation data and the second operation data to a computer at a predetermined timing.
Programmable Gaming Device, and Method of Operating such Gaming Device
Programmable gaming device, and method of operating such gaming device. The gaming device includes a set of illumination units, each one of them capable of selectively illuminating at different colors; as well as a set of touch-sensitive surfaces or sensors, each one of them being temporarily and non-fixedly associated with one or more of the illumination units. A processor enforces a game logic selected from a bank of rules stored in a memory unit of the gaining device. Optionally, sound is generated via audio speakers, and one or more human users can play various games through the gaming device. Optionally, the gaming device is implemented as table top, or as a table having a single central leg or multiple supporting legs.
Button assembly and game controller including the same
A button assembly adapted for being mounted in a game controller. The button assembly includes a pedestal, a pressure sensor module and a key cap. A middle of the pedestal has an accommodating groove penetrating upward through a top surface of the middle of the pedestal. Two opposite sides of the pedestal have two limiting portions oppositely protruded outward. The pressure sensor module is mounted in the accommodating groove of the pedestal. The key cap is covered on the pressure sensor module. A bottom surface of the key cap has a contact portion contacting with the pressure sensor module. Two opposite sides of the key cap have two active portions protruded outward. The two active portions are mounted to the two limiting portions, respectively. In processes of pressing and releasing the key cap, the two active portions move downward and upward with respect to the two limiting portions.
Juggling simulation game
The juggling simulation game is a game of skill. The juggling simulation game is an electrically operated game. The juggling simulation game simulates the activity of juggling. The juggling simulation game comprises a base structure, a vertical structure, and a control circuit. The base structure attaches to the vertical structure. The base structure and the vertical structure contains the control circuit. The control circuit simulates the appearance and the movement of a plurality of balls during the juggling process. The control circuit further forms an interface that allows for the change of direction of the simulated motion of the plurality of balls.
Board Game System and Method
A board game system comprises a game board, having a surface adapted to receive a board game overlay, a detector array adapted to detect the respective positions of a plurality of game pieces placed on top of the board game overlay, and a transmitter adapted to transmit data indicating the respective positions to an entertainment device; and an entertainment device, having a receiver adapted to receive from the game board data indicating the respective positions of the plurality of game pieces, a game state analyser operable to update the state of a game in dependence upon the indicated respective positions of the plurality of game pieces, and an image generator operable to generate an image for output to a display, the content of the image being responsive to the detected state of the game.
