Toy
A toy for use by at least two operators, the toy having an actuator for manipulation by each operator and a fluid reservoir, each actuator being operable to prime the fluid within the reservoir and to alter the direction of fluid flow so that actuation by a first operator may cause fluid to jet towards the second operator and vice versa.
Interactive play system
Embodiments of an interactive play system are provided. In one such embodiment, an interactive play system includes a satellite having a sensor. The satellite is integrated within a component included within a playground environment. A feedback mechanism is also provided within the playground environment. A computing device supports a selective change between a first programming state in which the feedback mechanism will respond to an actuation of the sensor based on a computer instruction provided by a system administrator and a second programming state in which the feedback mechanism will respond to an actuation of the sensor based on a computer instruction provided by someone other than a system administrator.
EDUCATIONAL TOY SET
The present invention relates to educational toy sets and methods for generating an auditive signal. An educational toy set according to the present invention comprises a shape 2, 2′, 3, 4 having at least one shape-identifier 2, 1, 2, 2 corresponding to one or more shape-features. The toy set further comprises an identification element having at least one reader to detect and/or activate at least one shape-identifier inside an effective range of the at least one reader and a processing unit adapted at processing a detecting and/or activating of at least one shape-identifier by the reader. It also comprises an output unit adapted at giving an auditive input reflective of the processing of said detecting and/or activating in conjunction with the one or more shape-features.
Sound generating device
A sound generating device comprises top, bottom and sound generating assemblies. The sound generating assembly comprises a microprocessor, sound chip, capacitor, speaker and power source that are electrically interconnected. The sound can range from animal and/or environmental sounds, music, congratulatory messages, other types of voice recordings, bells, whistles and the like, and the length of play can be varied. When the device is struck against a hard surface, the contact in the top is depressed and interacts with a receptor on the sound generating device to communicate with the microprocessor and sound chip to generate a sound, which can persist from about one or more seconds, depending on how the sound generating device had been programmed. Repeat strikes of the sound generating device against the surface will result in a repetition of the sound.
TARGET GAME
The present invention is a game, which is useful for entertainment and improving hand eye coordination. The core components of the invention are a shooter, targets, and distance markers. Generally speaking, the method of play is as follows: Players arrange the targets and distance markers. Each player selects a distance from which to shoot at the targets. Each player using the shooter shoots at the targets from the selected distance. Multiple rounds of shooting may be played. After all rounds of shooting have been completed, the points earned are tallied and the winner is determined. If necessary, the targets may be reset after each shooter's turn in each round.
Configurable devices
A smart block can include a plurality of displays and configurable magnet components to selectively attract or repel other smart blocks. The smart block can include proximity sensors to identify a surface of another smart block close to the smart block to determine if the smart blocks are correctly oriented based on an application or game associated with the operation of the smart blocks. A plurality of smart blocks can be configured to display a portion of a picture (as a puzzle), such that when the smart blocks are oriented correctly they collectively display the complete picture. The smart blocks can be used in conjunction with a smart mat that is configured to move the smart blocks in response to commands received from a remote computing device. The smart blocks and the smart mat can facilitate interactivity with other, remote users, such as between a caregiver and a child.
Multi-mode amusement game device
A display device of an amusement game is caused to present in a main screen information associated with a first one of a plurality of active game play modes of the amusement game and to present in a secondary screen information associated with a second one of the plurality of active game play modes of the amusement game. A plurality of lighted features and at least one sound generating device are controlled using instructions that are associated only with the first one of the plurality of active game play modes while input received by a plurality of game play devices, resulting from an interaction between the plurality of game play features and an object that is moving relative to a playfield of the amusement game, is used to affect play of and/or scoring of play of the amusement game using instructions that are associated with each of the plurality of active game play modes.
Interactive Computerized Toy
This invention describes an interactive computerized toy that provides light, audio and vibration entertaining patterns in response to touch stimuli from all directions and where the light patterns may be displayed in all directions. In particular, the present invention describes an interactive computerized toy in the shape of a cube with six faces with a unique versatility in providing endless programming options, in a fashion similar to loading and playing different games on the screens of handheld devices such as smartphones.
DICE SCANNING DEVICE
A dice scanner for assisting in electronic gaming is disclosed which comprises a flat scanner with a scanning surface and a processor. The scanning surface is adapted for the rolling of one or more thrown dice and the flat scanner is configured for acquiring images of the scanning surface and the dice rolling or resting on that scanning surface in real time. The processor is configured for receiving one or more acquired images of the scanning surface and deriving therefrom data relating to the dice. The dice scanner also comprises a video acquisition system and/or an audio acquisition system which are arranged relative to the scanning surface such that at least a user face and/or at least a user voice can be recorded while gaming.
Boxing gaming device
The present invention provides a gaming system for playing a boxing inspired game. The gaming device includes two vests that communicate with each other and keep score via wireless technology. The game is played by two players at a time with the general objective being for a player to hit their opponent's vest as many times as possible within the designated time period. The device allows players to engage in three different modes. Score tracking is announced by audio and does not require any additional devices for viewing the score.
