Methods of enhancing a sensory experience to simulate a live event are provided. One includes providing an audible signal representing sound information; generating a vibration signal based on the audible signal and enhanced information that would be present at the live event; and providing the vibration signal to at least one vibration device for stimulating nerve receptors in a foot area, the vibration signal synchronized with the audible signal to produce a perception in the brain of being present at the live event. Another method includes generating a vibration signal representing vibrations including tactile vibrations for stimulating nerve receptors in a foot to simulate being present at a live event, and vibrations based on reproduced sound information; and providing the signal to at least one vibration device for delivering the vibrations to the feet, the tactile vibrations based on enhanced information different from the sound information and including non-audible elements.

GAMING DEVICE WITH ROTATABLY PLACED CAMERAS
20180011545 · 2018-01-11 ·

A method to identify positions of fingers of a hand is described. The method includes capturing images of a first hand using a plurality of cameras that are part of a wearable device. The wearable device is attached to a wrist of a second hand and the plurality of cameras of the wearable device is disposed around the wearable device. The method includes repeating capturing of additional images of the first hand, the images and the additional images captured to produce a stream of captured image data during a session of presenting the virtual environment in a head mounted display (HMD). The method includes sending the stream of captured image data to a computing device that is interfaced with the HMD. The computing device is configured to process the captured image data to identify changes in positions of the fingers of the first hand.

Footwear having sensor system

A shoe has a sensor system operably connected to a communication port. Performance data is collected by the system and can be transferred for further use via the communication port. The shoe may contain an electronic module configured to gather data from the sensors. The module may also transmit the data to an external device for further processing. Users can use the collected data for a variety of different uses or applications.

PLAY SET

The invention concerns a play set having a play module with a play element and a base equipped with an electronic board having a communicator. The invention also includes an electronic reader for connection to a terminal allowing access to at least one computer platform providing at least one service. The electronic reader is arranged to connect the play module to the terminal by interaction with the communicator of the electronic board, in order to be able to use a function offered by the play element in the service provided by the computer platform. The play module further has a spherical matrix in which the play element and the base are enclosed, the spherical matrix allowing the play module to be used as a play ball.

Video game controller

A video game controller can automatically operate as a video game controller with audio capability and a video game controller without audio capability based upon a signal received via a switch in communication with an audio jack of the video game controller when a headset is coupled to the audio jack. Connection of the headset to the controller automatically causes video game audio to be communicated from the video game console to the headset via the controller. The video game audio is communicated at a default volume level to the headset upon coupling of the headset to the video game controller. The volume level of the audio communicated to the headset can be adjustable up or down via a directional pad of the video game controller while an audio control button on the video game controller is pressed.

A controller for function switching and dynamic identification switching and a dynamic identification method
20230009986 · 2023-01-12 · ·

A controller for function switching and dynamic identification switching and a dynamic identification method are disclosed. The controller includes a switch circuit, a master circuit and a switching circuit, wherein the switch circuit is electrically connected to the master circuit, and the switching circuit is electrically connected to the master circuit. The switching circuit includes a function realization component and a light controlled component, the function realization component is electrically connected to the master circuit for function realization, and the light controlled component is electrically connected to the master circuit for light conversion. When the function is switched, the corresponding dynamic identification is synchronously completed. It not only completes reliable function switching, but also timely and accurately identifies the dynamic change of functions, which is convenient for users.

Using camera on computer simulation controller
