Apparatus and method for providing game service for managing vehicle
An embodiment of the present disclosure provides a vehicle management game service providing device installed in a vehicle. The vehicle management game service providing device includes a receiver, a controller, which obtains vehicle information, and determines whether a user's intervention is required with regard to a vehicle-related task on the basis of the obtained vehicle information, a user interface, which receives a user input signal, and provides a screen according to execution of the user game, and an operator, which operates the vehicle according to a vehicle control signal. At least one among an autonomous vehicle, a user terminal, and a server according to embodiments of the present disclosure may be associated or integrated with an artificial intelligence module, a drone (unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV)), a robot, an augmented reality (AR) device, a virtual reality (VR) device, a 5G service related device, and the like.
Systems and methods for capture and use of local elements in gameplay
A computer-implemented method is provided for enabling virtual gameplay. Access is provided to at least one video game in which a player is able to interact with the video game according to a storyline. A player location is detected and stored. A local element is retrieved from a database based on the player location and the local element is correlated to a local element script actuatable in the video game. This local element script is retrieved and actuated in the video game to supplement or replace the video game's storyline.
METHODS AND APPARATUS FOR MONITORING VIDEO GAMES
Methods and apparatus for monitoring video games are disclosed. Example video game monitors disclosed herein include a network analyzer to communicatively couple with a communication interface of a video game console, the network analyzer to detect communication packets transferred over the communication interface of the video game console. Disclosed example video game monitors also include a processor to decode the communication packets detected by the network analyzer to determine an identity of a game being played by the video game console, and report the identity of the game to a data collection facility.
METHOD, APPARATUS, AND APPLICATION FOR PROVIDING USER INTERFACE FOR GAME
Disclosed is a method for providing a user interface for a game. An embodiment comprises the steps of: defining a game progress panel user interface area for displaying visual information on a game progress at one side of a display of a user terminal; defining a card panel user interface area for displaying, at the other side of the display, a card information matrix configured on the basis of card information included in an account of a game player; displaying a game character corresponding to the card information in the game progress panel user interface area on the basis of an input of the card information included in the card information matrix; and displaying the card information in an area defined around the game character.

Safety scheme for gesture-based game
Technologies are generally described for providing a notification to a player playing a gesture-based game of a potentially dangerous condition. In some examples, a safety component of a gesture-based game system includes a gesture range determination unit configured to determine a gesture range associated with a gesture-based game; a detection unit configured to detect a movement of an object; and an alarm unit configured to generate an alarm in response to a determination based on the movement of the object which is within the gesture range.
GAME SYSTEM, GAME DEVICE AND DATA PROCESSING APPARATUS
A game system includes a game device at least including a control unit, a storage unit, an output unit, an input unit and a send unit; a display device, integrally formed with the game device or separately formed from the game device, at least including an input unit connected to the game device and a display unit; and a data processing apparatus at least including a control unit, a storage unit, an output unit and a receive unit, wherein the control unit of the game device causes a game to progress by executing a game program, and controls the send unit to send a signal to the data processing apparatus when a predetermined condition is satisfied in accordance with a progression status of the game, and wherein in the data processing apparatus, when the receive unit receives the signal, the control unit performs a predetermined process based on the signal.
Information processing apparatus and file copying method
A read-only-memory (ROM) medium in which a file constituting application software and an additional content file are recorded is mounted to a media drive. A recording processing section copies the file recorded in the ROM medium to an auxiliary storage device. After copying the additional content file to the auxiliary storage device, the recording processing section copies the file constituting the application software to the auxiliary storage device. In the case where the additional content file downloaded from a content server is stored in the auxiliary storage device, the application software can utilize both the additional content file copied from the ROM medium to the auxiliary storage device and the additional content file downloaded from the content server into the auxiliary storage device.
Systems and Methods for Providing Immersive Game Feedback Using Haptic Effects
There is provided a system including a wearable feedback device having a first feedback element and a second feedback element, a non-transitory memory storing a game and an executable code, and a hardware processor executing the executable code to receive an input signal from the game, transmit a first activation signal to activate the first feedback element to provide a first feedback including a haptic effect, in response to receiving the input signal, and transmit a second activation signal to activate the second feedback element to provide a second feedback, in response to receiving the input signal.
Methods of playing video games
Video game systems for executing instructions according to a video game contained on an item of first media including: an item of second media containing data defining an aspect of the video game; and a video game console including a housing, a first media device supported by the housing, a second media device supported by the housing, and a control unit supported by the housing and configured to control the first media device to read the item of first media and to control the second media device to read the item of second media.
