The game table can include a game surface surrounded by side walls about its perimeter for storage of the game elements and to prevent game elements, such as game balls, from escaping from the recessed game surface. The game surface can include elements for various games, including foosball, hockey, football, pool, craps, roulette, chess, checkers, backgammon or the like. In some embodiments, the game elements may be interchanged to provide multiple different games that can be played in the recessed gaming surface. In some embodiments, game players may be disposed on arms that extend across the game table in a manner similar to conventional foosball players. Such arms may be made removable to permit changing between game player-based games and games that can be played directly on the recessed surface.

A multi-player board game includes six sets of 16 indexed playing elements or disks in each set, a board having six sectors, three regular dice, and one rule die. Each of the regular dice has 1-6 numerals on their respective faces. The numerals determine a site for receiving an indexed disk, or a number of moves of an indexed disk between sites. The rule die cube has a data item on five of its faces. The data items are different from each other, and three of them include no numerals. Each data item communicates a certain playing rule. Each sector has a designated site for establishing a certain playing rule for playing disks received in the designated site. Each regular dice cube has 1-6 numerals. The game includes six indexed bags, and respective colors index the playing elements and the indexed bags. The invention includes both a box version and a computerized network version. In the network version, a server communicates with smartphones operated by the players.

The first and fourth displays each display the amount of time remaining for the first player to make his/her moves during the duration of the game, and the second and third displays each display the amount of time remaining for the second player to make his/her moves during the duration of the game. In this way, each player has use of one display that displays his/her remaining time, and one display that displays his/her opponent's remaining time. The system also includes control mechanisms for each player to pause his/her time countdown after his/her turn and to subsequently begin his/her opponent's time countdown at the beginning of his/her opponent's next turn.

A table comprising a table base and a tabletop is disclosed. The table base comprises a top surface comprising one or more removable adhesives. The one or more removable adhesives adhere strongly when a force is applied in a horizontal direction and weakly when a force is supplied in a vertical direction. This prevents horizontal movement but allows vertical movement when a vertical force above an adhesion threshold is applied. The tabletop comprises a usable first side and a usable second side alternately mounted to the table base by means of the removable adhesives.
