A game system and game method wherein an e-ticket is displayed before the start of a game and contains a plurality of game indexes, an open code containing encrypted information about a combination of winning indexes stored on a game server, and information about prizes for a successful search. The user identifies the game indexes in the e-ticket and sends the indexes from the terminal to the game server. The game server compares the indexes, determines the result of the game, and sends an e-coupon to the terminal containing the indexes, the result of the game and an encryption key. The e-coupon allows the user to obtain their prize and/or check on a public resource that the result of encrypting the combination of winning indexes using the aforesaid key matches the open code, and that any alteration of the key and/or the combination of winning indexes corrupts the open code.

A security-enhanced document includes a substrate and variable indicia comprising ink having a signal. The variable indicia is of a specific type and is applied to the substrate using a specific application technique. At least one other printed portion, which is a back of the document, has background ink noise, and the type of ink of the back of the document is of the same type of ink applied to the substrate using the same application technique as the ink of the variable indicia. The document also includes a scratch-off-coating applied over the variable indicia. The document has a signal-to-noise ratio of the ink of the variable indicia relative to the background ink noise of the back of the document that is not appreciable, thereby making the variable indicia unreadable with reference to the back of the document when the scratch-off-coating remains intact.

A gamecard holder comprising a bottom surface, a back surface, opposing sides, and a front viewing portion that collectively form an elevated holder that is operable to be placed on any table or comparable surface. The front viewing portion includes a plurality of slots operable to hold various pull-tabs or game cards. The front viewing portion faces the player and is configured such that the height along the front viewing portion increases towards the back surface of the holder such that the pull-tabs, when placed in the slots, are viewable to the player. Optionally, the holder may include a retractable stand operable to transition the holder from a raised position ideal for playing games to a closed position for storing. A method and associated system are provided for producing a perforation line between adjacent lottery tickets in an automated production line wherein a substrate having lottery tickets printed thereon is conveyed through a perforation station in the production line prior to being folded into a Z-fold pattern for subsequent packaging. A perforation machine in the line is controlled by a controller for defining the perforation lines, wherein the control process includes determining the perforation lines that correspond to fold lines in the Z-fold pattern and, for these perforation lines, programming the perforation machine to generate a second perforation profile that is different from a first perforation profile of non-fold perforation lines that lie between the fold lines in the Z-fold pattern. The second perforation profile is specifically tailored to produce a stronger perforation line to compensate for weakness induced in the perforation line from being folded.

A lottery ticket distribution device (10) for dispensing scratch-off lottery tickets, which includes; a housing, a lottery ticket feeding device, a cutter (36), a guiding press plate (38), and a guiding press plate drive device and a control device (23). The guiding press plate drive device includes a linear electromagnet (50), a lever (51), a pulling plate (52) and a spring (53). The linear motion of the linear electromagnet (50) pushes the lever (51) to rotate, and the rotation of the lever (51) drives the pulling plate (52) and the guiding press plate (38) connected to the pulling plate (52) to rotate, so that a lottery ticket tape (16) is bent toward the cutter (36). The lottery tickets feeding device makes the lottery tickets to roll back, thereby a lottery ticket is separated.
