A full-color protected document, and methods and systems for making same, secured by a removable Scratch-Off Coating, where the protection against document alteration and/or copy type attacks is provided by digitally imaging Benday patterns and/or digital imaged background patterns around the variable indicia. By printing Benday patterns and/or imaged background using the same process color imagers, usability and integrity of the protected document are achieved relative to the consumer's perspective while at the same time providing a more secure, less expensive, and more aesthetically pleasing document design.

A lottery ticket bin for use in multi-bin dispenser array includes a housing having an open top and a drawer that slides into and out of the housing, the drawer also having an open top and a ticket compartment for receipt of a supply of interconnected lottery tickets through the open top. A component section adjacent a front of the drawer includes a first cable connection port, and a second cable connection port is fixed to the housing adjacent the component section in a closed position of the drawer, the second cable connection port in communication with a circuit board fixed to an exterior of the housing. A cable is connected between the first and second cable connection ports and a length so as to accommodate a fully open position of the drawer relative to the housing. The cable folds into a cable storage section configured with the drawer.

A security-enhanced document including a substrate, variable indica applied to an area of a first side of the substrate, a scratch-off-coating applied over the variable indicia to maintain the variable indicia unreadable until the scratch-off-coating is removed by being scratched off, and digital imaging applied to an area of a reverse side of the substrate from the variable indicia, wherein the digital imaging applied to the area of the reverse side of the substrate includes the same materials as the variable indicia, is uniformly spread over the area of the reverse side of the substrate, and such that the digital imaging overlaps at least 50% of the variable indica applied to the area of the first side of the substrate, such that the variable indicia exhibits an insufficient signal-to-noise ratio relative to the signal-to-noise ratio of the digital imaging on the reverse side of the substrate so that the variable indicia cannot be discerned so long as the scratch-off-coating remains intact.

The present invention is directed to a lottery ticket. The lottery ticket includes a matching identifier for matching with identifiers of one or more other lottery tickets to form a winning combination of lottery tickets.

A security-enhanced document includes a substrate and variable indicia comprising ink having a signal. The variable indicia is of a specific type and is applied to the substrate using a specific application technique. At least one other printed portion, which is a back of the document, has background ink noise, and the type of ink of the back of the document is of the same type of ink applied to the substrate using the same application technique as the ink of the variable indicia. The document also includes a scratch-off-coating applied over the variable indicia. The document has a signal-to-noise ratio of the ink of the variable indicia relative to the background ink noise of the back of the document that is not appreciable, thereby making the variable indicia unreadable with reference to the back of the document when the scratch-off-coating remains intact.

A set of printed lottery cards using a symbol pool of from 6 to 16 symbols, in this example 9 symbols to be randomly drawn at the end of the lottery. Each card has two matrices of 33 cells each displaying a set of 9 differing symbols on each card, and has an area for recording the sequence of the numbers drawn, and an area for recording the total number of links achieved across the two matrices. This example shows the resulting links on each matrix after all numbers have been drawn. By printing two or more matrices per card, the total of number of links per card is additive but the number of possible permutations increases dramatically. These cards can be printed on demand at State Lottery retail outlets or pre-printed and used as scratch and win cards.

A security-enhanced document with a removable SOC is provided that is compatible with process color digital imaging, method and system for producing the document enhances production, and expands the aesthetics of the documents.

A scratch board for lottery tickets and the like. The board includes a body having a planar portion, the planar portion having a flat front surface, and a curved portion extending from the lower end of the planar portion and forwardly of the planar portion, a clip coupled to the planar portion and adapted to securely maintain a flat object against the planar portion, a dowel removably affixed to the planar portion, and a receptacle sized to receive one or several coins. The board can also include a cylinder rotatably disposed within the curved portion, the cylinder including an outer wall, an internal cavity, and a slot defined through the outer wall.

A bingo card organizing assembly for storing bingo cards, flash cards or any other type of gaming card includes a first panel a set of first pockets. Each of the first pockets is attached to the first panel to contain a bingo card. Each of the first pockets is comprised of a translucent material to facilitate the bingo cards to be visible through the first pockets. A set of second pockets is each of the second pockets is attached to the first panel to contain a flash card.
