20230132226 · 2023-04-27 ·

A strategy game embodied in a tile game system. The tile game system has a plurality of game tiles, each game tile having a polygon planar shape different than the remaining plurality of game tiles, wherein each playable area is defined by contiguously placing the plurality of game tiles along a gameboard. Each player has different rules of play that combined with the different customizable playable areas provides a plurality of unique gameplay configurations that alters strategies from game to game.

PUZZLE

A children’s puzzle including a rigid frame and a set of removable, rigid, non-interlocking pieces. The rigid frame has two opposite broad sides defining a thickness with multiple recesses which are sized to simultaneously accommodate all of the pieces of the set. Each recess is surrounded by one or more elevated surfaces of the rigid frame. At least one of the recesses on at least one broad side of the rigid frame loosely contains multiple pieces of the set. The recesses of the two opposite broad sides of the rigid frame are arranged differently, so as to form respective arrangements of the pieces of the set when accommodated in the recesses. The pieces each have a flat bottom surface. At least three of the pieces have different perimeter shapes. The pieces are retained in the recesses only by gravity.

A game apparatus may include a plurality of polygonal tiles. Each tile may include a set of indicia positioned adjacent each side of the tile, and each set of indicia may include at least one pip, and at least one non-pip. Each side of a tile may include an identical number of indicia.

Geometrical shape apparatus

Apparatus comprising a set of shapes, the shapes derived from a hexagonal footprint, and wherein for each of the shapes, at least some of the vertices of the hexagon joined with straight lines to define a perimeter of a respective shape of the set.

PROCESS FOR CREATING MULTIPLE-IN-ONE JIGSAW PUZZLES AND FOR CREATING ARTWORK FROM SINGLE IMAGES

In a method for taking an image or a portion of an image and replicating the image within an array, the images within the array are manipulated, such as by rotating or flipping the images or creating mirror-images of the original image or portion of the image, to create symmetrical images which relate to the original image but have a different appearance. Such modified images can be used in creating jigsaw puzzles, fabric designs, clothing patterns and the like.

PLAYMAT

A playmat system includes a series of isosceles right triangle tiles and edge tiles. Advantageously, the triangle shaped tiles and edge tiles have one or of two color or patterns or more. The triangle shaped tiles and edge tiles have complementary edges which allow the triangle tiles to be interlockingly engaged with one another along either hypotenuse edges or like edges to thereby produce a number of different patterns when laid out and interconnected.

This invention provides methods for playing an emergent pattern game including motifs without much symmetry except for motifs with mostly parallel shapes, playing the motifs to make one or more clusters, playing motifs to continue patterns and change or block patterns. Methods may also include assessing or predicting personality traits. Motifs may be further constrained with various geometric requirements. Play may involve players giving each other directions, interacting with each other's motifs and drawing cards that impact play. One player may play alone or several may play together. This invention provides specialized motifs for playing the games of this invention. Motifs may be designs on paper, on tiles, configured as stamps, or other configurations. This invention also provides kits of motifs, instructions, and a deck of cards with directions for styles of play.
