The present disclosure provides an inflatable toy sword device with a blade configured to extend from and retract into the handle. A flexible blade material may be stored in a spooled configuration within the handle and inflated during extension. During retraction, the process is reversed and air is controllably released while the material is spooled. A method of extending and retracting the flexible blade material of an inflatable toy sword is also provided.

The present invention relates to a novel pillow fighting pillow(s) designed to be used for a pillow fighting game. The pillow includes a pocket inside the pillow for storing a plurality of smaller pillows. The smaller or auxiliary pillows are accessed through an opening disposed on a front surface of the pillow, and are used for tossing at other players playing the pillow fighting game. The opening is secured using a fastener such as a hook and loop fastener. The pillow includes a pair of hand slots disposed on an exterior surface of the pillow and the hand slots are used for firmly gripping the pillow and swinging same during the pillow fighting game. The pillow offers optimal fun, entertainment, and convenience while pillow fighting.

A throwing toy that can simulate the throwing of a weapon. The throwing toy has a head and a handle that are molded from a soft polymeric foam. Reinforcement elements can be molded into the foam to provide structural integrity. The head of the toy has a face surface, a rear surface, a top surface, and a bottom surface. The handle extends from the bottom surface of the head. When the throwing toy is thrown toward a target, one of the surfaces of the head is likely to impact the target. This disclosure relates to systems and methods for using a gyroscope to change the resistance of moving a virtual weapon to simulate a feel of moving the virtual weapon. A feel of moving a virtual weapon may be simulated by determining a position and/or an orientation of a virtual blade of the virtual weapon, determining controls for a gyroscope based on the position and/or the orientation of the virtual blade, and operating the gyroscope in accordance with the controls for the gyroscope to provide resistance to changing the orientation of the hilt, wherein the resistance to changing the orientation of the hilt simulates the feel of moving the virtual weapon.
