Systems, methods, and apparatuses for implementing multi-point controls for a gas flame apparatus with a variable position gas flame trigger
Systems, methods, and apparatuses for implementing multi-point controls for a gas flame apparatus with a variable position gas flame trigger are described herein. For example, according to one embodiment there is a novelty apparatus including: a frame, in which the frame is comprised of a top frame resting upon a bottom frame; an output nozzle anterior to the frame; a tactical stock posterior to the frame; a tank mount attached to the frame to receive a fuel source tank; a gas line to feed gas from the fuel source tank into a gas inlet of the novelty apparatus; a grip affixed to the frame; a flame output system housed within the frame, in which the flame output system includes at least (i) the gas inlet to receive the gas line, (ii) a variable control plunger, (iii) a 4-way connector, (iv) a gas outlet, (v) a gas hard-line, and (vi) a burner tube; a trigger housed in the frame connected to the variable control plunger, in which pressing on the trigger releases the plunger to feed gas into the gas inlet from the gas line; an ignition system, wherein the ignition system includes at least (i) an igniter button, (ii) an igniter, (iii) igniter coils, and (iv) an igniter wire; a pre-set multi-point control system for flame management having a primary valve, an idle control valve and an igniter, in which pre-settings on the primary valve restrict tank flow; in which adjusting the pre-settings on the multi-point control system maintains an idle flame having a size that does not extinguish when the trigger releases the plunger and a pre-set increment of tank flow is released, transiting the idle flow to reach the burner tube; a structural reinforcement mount internal to the frame to provide rigidity and receive the tactical stock; and in which manipulation of the multi-point control system in coordination with the flame output system and ignition system results in the emission and maintenance of a flame. Other related embodiments are disclosed.
STEAM EFFECT NOZZLE FOR ENTERTAINMENT VENUE
A steam effect nozzle includes a housing section configured to receive a fluid having a mixture of steam and liquid condensate and baffles disposed in the housing section. The baffles are configured to separate the steam of the fluid from the liquid condensate of the fluid, enable the steam to travel from a first end wall of the housing section to a second end wall of the housing section, and bias the liquid condensate of the fluid toward a sloped lower surface of the housing section, the sloped lower surface sloping downwardly from the second end wall toward the first end wall. The steam effect nozzle also includes a nozzle outlet adjacent to the second end wall of the housing section, where the nozzle outlet is configured to output the steam to an external environment.
FLAME THROWER PIPE ORGAN
A micro flame effects unit (MFEU) includes a solenoid valve, an ignition coil, and a pair of electrodes. The ignition coil is to receive a voltage to create a spark between end portions of the electrodes. The solenoid valve is to receive a voltage to release gas, the spark and the gas to create a flame effect. An example flame thrower pipe organ (FTPO) includes a set of cylindrical members with a micro flame effects unit (MFEU) located within each cylindrical member. The FTPO further includes a set of keys that provide a sound when a key of the set of keys is played. A control device causes an MFEU to release a flame effect concurrent with the sound of a corresponding key being played. The FTPO may be automated with a self-playing system.
Apparatus for generating three-dimensional visual effects, and smoke-generating device for such an apparatus
The invention proposes an apparatus for generating three-dimensional visual effects, characterised in that it comprises, in combination: a controlled smoke generator (10) comprising a synthetic smoke source and a means for directionally propelling the smoke produced by the generator in order to form a plume of smoke extending in a certain direction, and a controlled light generator (20), suitable for generating one or more light beams in the plume of smoke and in the direction in which it extends, the light beam or beams being essentially contained in said plume of smoke. Application in particular to the production of “lightsaber” visual effects, and more generally to varied three-dimensional light effects.
WATER-BASED PYROTECHNIC ILLUSION
Systems and methods for firework water illusions are disclosed. In one aspect, a device for creating an illusion of rotary pyrotechnics includes at least one nozzle configured to rotate about an axis of the device and spray water in a radial direction while rotating. The device can also include a water supply configured to provide the water to the at least one nozzle and a lighting system configured to illuminate the water sprayed from the at least one nozzle to create an illusion of rotary pyrotechnics.
INTERACTIVE DISPLAY WITH SPECIAL EFFECTS ASSEMBLY
A three-dimensional display system includes a first display and a second display spaced apart from the first display having one or more light sources configured to emit light and to illuminate the first display, where the first display is at least partially transparent such that the second display is visible through the first display. The three-dimensional display system includes a special effect system disposed at least in part between the first display and the second display and is configured to be activated to cause a special effect to be visible through the first display. The three-dimensional display system includes a controller communicatively coupled to the first display, the second display, and the special effect system.
Themed interactive environment in the form of a motel or hotel and method of operating the same
A hotel or motel room incorporates special effects in accordance with a particular theme (e.g., haunted room). A control room provides a concealed area for personnel and/or automated systems to trigger the special effects which may include, but are limited to shaking, rattling, rumbling, pepper ghosts, water fixtures being activated, thunder and lightning, swapping tiles with digital graphics, turning on a TV, clock or light, etc. Heat sensors, weight sensors, floor mats and/or other sensors determine positions of guests in the hotel and hotel rooms thereby allowing the automatic or manual triggering of the special effects.
Apparatus for producing a fire special effect
The invention is directed to an apparatus for use in producing a simulated flame/fire effect using steam or theatrical smoke. In one embodiment, the apparatus includes an first chamber for receiving steam or theatrical smoke, an annular second chamber that surrounds the first chamber and defines an annular closed-loop slot through which a closed-loop sheet of steam or theatrical smoke exits, a passageway for conveying smoke from the first chamber to the annular second chamber, a lighting structure for projecting light onto the steam or theatrical smoke exiting the annular slot, and an air modulator for modulating the position of the steam or theatrical smoke exiting the slot.
Special effects communication techniques
A special effects communication system may include a camera system at a first location that generates a first dataset based on one or more images or impressions of a first user at the first location. The special effects communication system may also include a control system communicatively coupled to the camera system and a special effects system. The control system may receive a second dataset corresponding to a second user present at a second location or to one or more users at one or more locations while the first user is present at the first location. The control system may also provide one or more control signals to cause the special effects system at the first location to generate special effects to present a visual and/or auditory likeness of the second user using special effects material and/or mediums.
