Personal protection equipment (PPE)) for air purification
20230233883 · 2023-07-27 ·

A personal protection equipment (PPE) for air purification is disclosed. The PPE includes an apparatus. The apparatus includes a filter and a scrubber unit. The filter is configured to filter the air for removing dust from the air. The scrubber unit is configured to purify the air before a user breaths the air. The scrubber unit includes a sparger through which the filtered air is pumped and bubbled in a water solution of polymer to trap remaining contaminants in the air and the contaminants free or improved quality air is sent to the user for breathing.

Reactor systems comprising fluid recycling

A method for processing a chemical stream includes contacting a feed stream with a catalyst in an upstream reactor section of a reactor having the upstream reactor section and a downstream reactor section, passing an intermediate product stream to the downstream reactor section, and introducing a riser quench fluid into the downstream reactor section, upstream reactor section, or transition section and into contact with the intermediate product stream and the catalyst to slow or stop the reaction. The method includes separating at least a portion of the catalyst from the product stream, passing the product stream to a product processing section, cooling the product stream, and separating a portion of the riser quench fluid from the product stream. The riser quench fluid separated from the product stream may be recycled back to the downstream reactor section, upstream reactor section, or transition section as the riser quench fluid.

Ambient air purifier with humidification and dehumidification

Indoor air is purified using a purifying solution in an arrangement capable of removing formaldehyde and other pollutants, such as, for example, particulates. The arrangement can prevent re-vaporization of volatile compounds and can generate air that has been humidified or dehumidified. In one approach, incoming air is contacted with the purifying solution in a packed bed.

APPARATUS AND METHOD FOR TREATMENT OF EXHAUST GAS

The present disclosure relates to an apparatus and method of removing pollutants from exhaust gas by wet scrubbing process. In a scrubber apparatus of the present disclosure, an exhaust gas is first scrubbed in a primary mixing zone, the partially scrubbed gas discharged from the primary mixing zone is subsequently mixed forcibly in a secondary mixing zone before being discharged for polishing, demisting and/or reheating.

Disclosed is a compact venturi scrubber, used for removing undesirable materials from a gas stream, that includes a gas inlet section, a discharge section aligned with the gas inlet section, the discharge section having a base defined by the intersection of the gas inlet section and the discharge section, a diverging interior surface, and a diverging angle defined by the diverging interior surface, a nozzle, and a liquid inlet through which a liquid scrubbing medium is introduced to the nozzle, wherein the nozzle produces a full spray pattern directed towards the base of the discharge section with a sufficiently large discharge angle so that a cross-sectional area of the full spray pattern produced by the nozzle at the point it intersects with the base of the discharge section fully covers, and substantially matches the size and shape of, the cross-sectional area of the base of the discharge section.

Holder for an electric heating disk in an exhaust gas aftertreatment device

An exhaust gas treatment device for arranging in an exhaust gas section of a motor vehicle that includes a heating disk which is assigned to an exhaust gas aftertreatment component. The heating disk is configured by way of a flat heating element and a holder which is coupled to the former. The holder extends over the cross-sectional area of the heating element, and the holder itself is of disk-shaped configuration. The inner face of the heating disk is configured by way of arcuate spokes which are coupled irregularly to one another.

APPARATUS AND METHOD FOR PARTICULATE CAPTURE FROM GAS STREAMS AND A METHOD OF REMOVING SOLUBLE PARTICULATE FROM A GAS
20220184545 · 2022-06-16 ·

Disclosed is a method for the removal of soluble particulate matter from a gas stream, such as urea dust from the off-gas of a finishing section of a urea production plant. The method comprises subjecting the off-gas to at least two quenching stages an aqueous quenching liquid. The quenching liquid used in a first, upstream quench stage, is allowed to have a higher concentration of dissolved particulate matter than the quenching liquid in the second, downstream quench stage. The quenched gas is led through a particle capture zone, typically comprising one or more of a wet scrubber, a Venturi scrubber, and a wet electrostatic precipitator.
