Cross-linked nanofiltration membranes

The invention relates to the use of an uncoated cross-linked non-pyrolysed selective vinyl based halopolymer-membrane with a mwco of between 100 and 1000 Da, in the filtration of compounds from liquids comprising organic solvents and/or from liquids with a pH below 2 or above 12.

Iron sulphide scale removal from oil and gas wells using green formulation

New formulation for pyrite scale removal from oil and gas wells and a method of pyrite scale removal are disclosed. The chemical formulation is composed of K.sub.2B.sub.4O.sub.7-4H.sub.2O, in a concentration of about 9-20 wt. % of the composition, preferably about 14 wt. % of the composition. The new formulation has the ability to dissolve pyrite without generation of the toxic H.sub.2S. Furthermore, the new formulation is cheaper and has very low corrosion rate compare to 15 wt. % HCl with corrosion inhibitor. The disclose method uses the disclosed new formulation to dissolve iron sulphide scale, performed at about 100-150° C. and about 500-2000 psi.

Pushable Multi-Fiber Connector

Multi-fiber, fiber optic cable assemblies may be configured so that the terminal ends of the cables have pre-assembled back-post assemblies that include pre-assembled ferrules, such as MPO ferrules that meet the requisite tolerances needed for fiber optic transmissions. To protect the pre-assembled components from damage prior to and during installation, pre-assembled components may be enclosed within a protective housing. The housing with pre-assembled components may be of a size smaller than fully assembled connectors so as to be sized to fit through a conduit. The remaining connector housing components for the multi-fiber connectors may be provided separately and may be configured to be attached to the back-post assembly after installation of the cable.

The present disclosure provides a treatment device for an exhaust gas from rare earth calcination, comprising a spray apparatus in which a sprayer is arranged, the sprayer comprising an input pipe, a nozzle, a toothed ring, a rotating impeller, a first gear, and a second gear, wherein the input pipe is configured to input a spray liquid to the nozzle; wherein the nozzle is arranged to be more than one, rotatably connected to the input pipe, arranged in a ring shape. The treatment device enables more uniform contact between the exhaust gas and the spray liquid.

EXHAUST FAN FOR PREVENTING AIR POLLUTION

An exhaust fan for preventing air pollution includes a main body and at least one gas detection module. The main body is configured to form an airflow-guiding path and includes a gas guider and a filtration and purification component disposed in the airflow-guiding path. The gas guider introduces an air convection for guiding an air pollution source contained in an air to pass through the filtration and purification component so as to filter and purify the air pollution source. The at least one gas detection module is disposed in the airflow-guiding path for detecting the air pollution source and transmitting gas detection data.

TREATMENT OF IMPURITIES IN PROCESS STREAMS

The present invention relates to a systems and methods for improved removal of one or more species in a process stream, such as combustion product stream formed in a power production process. The systems and methods particularly can include contacting the process stream with an advanced oxidant and with water.

EXHAUST GAS EMISSIONS ABATEMENT SYSTEM

A system for removing methane oxidation catalyst (MOC) poisons from an exhaust gas including a methane abatement unit that may receive the exhaust gas having methane (CH.sub.4)and the MOC poisons. The methane abatement unit includes a guard bed that may remove the MOC poisons from the exhaust gas and may generate an intermediate exhaust gas having the CH.sub.4 and devoid of the MOC poisons. The guard bed includes a MOC poisons capturing component having a first transition metal oxide, an aluminum oxide (Al.sub.2O.sub.3) support material, and a dolomite-derived support material. The methane abatement unit also includes a MOC bed fluidly coupled to and positioned downstream from the guard bed. The MOC bed includes a MOC and may remove CH.sub.4 from the intermediate exhaust gas to generate a treated exhaust gas having less than approximately 200 parts per million volume (ppmv) CH.sub.4.

CZTS sorbent

Various embodiments disclosed relate to extraction of target materials using a CZTS sorbent. A method of extracting a target material from a medium includes contacting a copper zinc tin sulfur (CZTS) sorbent with the target material in the medium including the target material to form a used CZTS sorbent that includes the target material.

AIR POLLUTION PREVENTION DEVICE FOR BABY CARRIAGE

An air pollution prevention device applied for a baby carriage includes a sealing cover, a filtration cleaner, a gas detection module and an intelligent control and process device. The sealing cover is hooded on the baby carriage for forming a sealed space. The filtration cleaner penetrates the sealing cover form the outside of the baby carriage for introducing an outside air into the sealed space of the baby carriage and discharging an air pollution source out of the sealed space. The gas detection module detects the air pollution source and outputs gas detection data. The intelligent control and process device receives and compares the gas detection data and controls an enablement of a gas guider of the filtration cleaner for filtering and exchanging the air pollution source in the sealed space so as to generate a clean air.

Methods for treating a flue gas stream using a wet scrubber unit

Sorbent compositions, comprising a solid sorbent, a dispersive agent, and optionally a capture agent for enhanced wet-Flue Gas Desulfurization (wFGD) or wet scrubber unit function in a flue gas pollutant control stream is disclosed. The sorbent composition may include a sorbent with a dispersive agent, designed to enhance the dispersion of the sorbent in an aqueous sorption liquid of a wet scrubber unit, and therefore may be especially useful in EGU or industrial boiler flue gas streams that include one or more wet scrubber units.
