FE-AL-BASED METAL POROUS MEMBRANE AND PREPARATION METHOD THEREOF
The present invention discloses a Fe—Al-based metal porous membrane and a preparation method thereof, which relate to the technical field of industrial gas-solid and liquid-solid separation and purification, and mainly address problems in the prior art, such as cracking-prone and peeling of a membrane layer of an existing Fe—Al-based metal porous membrane during its preparation and use. The preparation method of the present invention comprises the steps of: adding a Fe—Al-based metal powder and a metal fiber powder into an organic-additive-added water-based solvent, and mixing them into a slurry; casting the slurry, through a casting machine, to form a membrane green body on a metal substrate layer, and letting it dry; and placing the dried membrane green body in a sintering furnace, to remove organic substances and perform high-temperature sintering and predetermined-temperature reaction synthesis.
METHOD FOR PREPARING DURABLY HYDROPHILIC AND UNIFORM-PORE ULTRAFILTRATION MEMBRANE
A method for preparing a durably hydrophilic and uniform-pore ultrafiltration membrane is disclosed herein. Chemical reactions between the functional groups and the active bonds of the molecular chains in the membrane materials are initiated perform the grafting of hydrophilic chains on the polymer chains under conventional dissolution conditions of the polymer membrane material (dissolution with synchronized hydrophilization), so as to realize durable hydrophilization of the membrane materials. The resulting hydrophilized polymer solution (a nascent-state membrane) is introduced into a coagulation bath to initiate a crosslinking reaction among the hydrophilic chains. The resulting crosslinking serves to synergistically regulate subsequent phase separation and membrane formation (phase separation under synergistic crosslinking).
MEMBRANE SEALING LAYER AND SPACER RING FOR VIRAL CLEARANCE CHROMATOGRAPHY DEVICE
A chromatography device having a housing having an inlet and an outlet. At least two layers of media disposed between the inlet and the outlet inside of the housing forming a media stack, with at least one of the layers comprising a functionalized layer. An optional spacer ring disposed between the two layers of media forming an air gap between them. A non-functionalized sealing layer disposed between the inlet and the outlet inside of the housing as the last layer of media in the media stack within the housing as a fluid passes from the inlet to the outlet through the media stack. A margin of the sealing layer in contact with the housing; the margin being compressed by the housing forming a compressive seal to prevent fluid from leaking to the outlet past the compressive seal.
