FILTER DEVICE FOR A WATER-BEARING DOMESTIC APPLIANCE, WATER-BEARING DOMESTIC APPLIANCE AND METHOD FOR CLEANING THE FILTER DEVICE
A filter device for a water-bearing domestic appliance has a flow-through filter housing with waste water inlet, filtered water outlet and filtrate outlet, at least one panel filter and a mounting therefor in the filter housing, wherein the panel filter has a mesh width and an angle to the horizontal, and a filtrate chamber in the filter housing for collecting filtrate. The panel filter, the waste water inlet and the filtered water outlet are arranged relative to one another such that a flow direction for water from the waste water inlet to the filtered water outlet passes through the panel filter. The filtrate chamber is accessible via the filtrate outlet for removing the filtrate from the filtrate chamber, in particular by backwashing. The at least one panel filter is variable in shape to change its mesh width, and/or an angle of the at least one panel filter to the horizontal can be altered by movement of the panel filter, in particular rotation.
FILTERING DEVICE AND SYSTEM, METHOD OF INSTALLING A FILTERING DEVICE AND USE OF A FILTERING DEVICE
The invention relates to a filtering device for filtering fibrous material from water flowing through a channel, the device comprising a sieve, the sieve being arranged at an angle with respect a flow direction defined by the channel. According to the invention, said angle is smaller than 25°. The invention also relates to a method of installing such a filtering device, a system comprising such a filtering device, and the use of such a device.
WASHING DEVICE AND EXTRACTION SYSTEM
Provided is a washing device that washes a filter of an extraction device with a fluid, the extraction device including an extraction tank for storing an extraction material, a lid body supported openably and closably at a lower portion of the extraction tank, and the filter which is provided on the lid body, and on which the extraction material is placed, the washing device including, a tube body which is disposed at a fixed position with respect to the extraction tank, and through which the fluid passes, and an ejection port provided on the tube body and injecting the fluid toward the filter when the lid body is in an open state.
Non-powered drain pump screen device
A non-powered drain pump screen device is disposed in a river, a stream, a waterway, or a place in which a significant amount soil is carried by a water flow. Upper and lower impellers are provided with upper and lower blades. The lower blades prevent reentry of impurities while rotating due to resistance to a flow of fluid in a non-powered manner. The upper impellers are rotated in a non-powered manner, so that the upper blades filter impurities. The non-powered drain pump screen device is disposed in a waterway to remove impurities at low maintenance costs.
Skimming devices and related methods
Skimming devices may use pressurized water from, for example, a return line of a swimming pool or spa. The devices may be adjustable vertically and levelled relative to an upper water surface (waterline) of a pool. They additionally may create “blades” of debris-laden pool water entering their floating heads so as to move debris smoothly and efficiently over wings or foils into associated filters.
SIEVE PANEL HAVING VARIABLE TILT SCREEN ELEMENT
A sieve panel and related methods of construction for dewater slurries with shaped-wire elements that have a variable tilt arrangement along the sieve panel. Each of the plurality of shaped-wire elements can be selectively oriented when mounted to a support member to define a desired tilt angle of the shaped-wire element relative to the support members Tilt angle can be selectively varied between an upper end and a lower end of the sieve panel to enhance dewatering characteristics of the sieve panel. The sieve panel can be fabricated such that an upper portion and a lower portion are essentially mirror images of each other such that the sieve panel can be flipped after leading edges of the individual screening elements have suffered wear leading to a degradation in dewatering performance. By flipping the sieve panel, an effective service life of the sieve panel can be essentially doubled.
Filter skid with tilting mechanism
A filtration system (1) has a filtration unit (2) with at least one filter element (4) for filtration of a fluid. The at least one filter element (4) has a main flow direction (C) for the fluid. The filtration unit (2) is configured to tilt the at least one filter element (4) around a tilting axis (B) to change an orientation of the main flow direction (C). A main unit (3) is fluidly connectable to the filtration unit (2) and includes a supply unit (18) configured to supply the fluid to the at least one filter element (4). A control unit is configured to control supplying and/or evacuating the fluid to/from the at least one filter element (4) and to control tilting of the at least one filter element (4) around the tilting axis (B).
