According to the present disclosure, the oil-water separation filter structure includes a hydrophilic material to separate water and oil, and as opposed to the existing nonwoven fabric type filters, can be continuously used, thereby preventing environmental pollution problems.
Separating Device for Separating at Least One Undesired Fluid from a Liquid, Membrane of a Separating Device, Filter, Filter Element, and Liquid System
A separating device for separating an undesired fluid from a multi-component liquid has a region flowed through by the multi-component liquid and at least one membrane disposed in the region to separate a first fluid region from a second fluid region. The membrane has a first permeability to the undesired fluid and a second permeability to the multi-component liquid. The first permeability is different from the second permeability. The membrane is equally permeable to all components of the multi-component liquid. The membrane is permeable to the multi-component liquid and impermeable to the undesired fluid, or the membrane is impermeable to the multi-component liquid and is permeable to the undesired fluid, wherein the multi-component liquid is a liquid multi-component operating medium. A filter with such a separating device and a filter element, in particular for diesel fuel, as well as a liquid system with such a separating device are described.
SYSTEMS FOR THE PROCESSING OF COMPOUNDS
The present disclosure is generally related to the separation of liquids from solids and for the recovery of solids and/or liquids from slurries. In some embodiments, liquids are separated from solids by applying a reduced pressure. In some embodiments, slurries are flowed by applying a pressure gradient. In some embodiments, an apparatus is provided that comprises a channel, an inlet, an outlet, and one or more ports. One or more ports may be constructed and arranged to apply a pressure differential and/or a reduced pressure to the channel. Such systems and methods may, in some embodiments, facilitate continuous manufacturing of solid products.
Filter element for liquid filtration
A filter element for liquid filtration has a hollow-cylindrical filter medium body and an end disk covering an end face of the filter medium body. A central cutout axially penetrates the end disk. An outflow channel for liquid to be filtered or filtered liquid is arranged at the end disk and connects to a liquid collecting space. The outflow channel extends from a radially outward wall surface of the filter medium body to the central cutout of the end disk. The outflow channel is controlled by a drainage device. A filter device with a filter housing provided with such a filter element has a drainage device that controls the outflow channel. A filter device with a drainage device having a first drainage position for draining only water and a second drainage position draining water from a water collecting space and liquid from a liquid collecting space is provided.
Fuel filter with organoclay, cleaning cartridge with organoclay, and use
A fuel filter has a separating device separating, from a medium flow comprising a first medium and a second medium, the first medium as a separated first medium contaminated with the second medium. The fuel filter has a cleaning device receiving a proportion of the second medium contained in the separated first medium. The cleaning device is arranged upstream of a discharge opening for discharging the first medium from the fuel filter. The cleaning device is provided with an absorbent/adsorbent cleaning material. The cleaning material contains or is made of an organoclay as an active component. The organoclay is a bulk material, wherein at least 50 wt. % of the organoclay has an average particle diameter of greater than 50 Φm and smaller than 1,000 Φm.
Water filter with water enrichment
The present invention describes a water filter apparatus (100, 100a) with integrated nutrient enrichment and/or enhancement. Desired nutrients, ions, hydrogen ions, ceramic, stones, metal etc. packed in granules or balls are selectively disposed inside a stick capsule (160), shell capsule (180) or hydrogen capsule (190). One or two stick capsules (160) are located inside a filter element (150). The stick capsule has a tapered end (162) and in association with T-shaped posts (157) formed on an inside of a cap (151) of the filter element, dynamic flow of water along the tapered end (162) induces nutrient-rich water to flow through perforations (165) at the end of the stick capsule (160), mixes/blends the two streams of water before water is discharged through a faucet (144). The filtered water is also enhanced by treating the water through flavor treatment, anti-bacterial, anti-chlorine, activated carbon and so on.
