GAS SUPPLY SYSTEM, MECHANICAL FOAMING SYSTEM, AND GAS SUPPLY METHOD
The present invention allows measurement of a precise amount of gas by preventing sudden flow rate fluctuations of gas. A gas supply system 1a for a mixing-discharging apparatus 90 to mix gas and paste material includes a regulator 2 adapted to control pressure of gas supplied to the mixing-discharging apparatus, a flow meter 3 adapted to measure flow rate of the gas, a gas storage portion 4 adapted to store the gas, and a valve 5 adapted to open and close a gas introduction path 11 to the mixing-discharging apparatus 90. The flow meter 3 is placed in front of the gas storage portion 4 and behind the regulator 2 with respect to a flow of the gas.
COMPACT DEVICE FOR PRODUCING FOAM FOR WELLNESS AND/OR HYGIENE APPLICATIONS
The device includes a vessel to be filled with a mixture of water and a component producing foam, where the vessel comprises a device for blowing air into the mixture to produce foam. It is provided according to the disclosure that the device comprises at least two vessels to be filled with the mixture arranged one above the other in a vertical direction in tiers, where the vessels comprise the device for blowing air into the mixture to produce foam, where the vessels are open towards an outlet region such that the foam produced in the vessels is merged in the outlet region.
MIXING APPARATUS
A mixing apparatus is described. The mixing apparatus has a first port for receiving milk, a second port for receiving steam, and a mixing chamber for mixing the milk, the steam, and air. A channel arrangement connects the first port and the second port, and defines an air intake channel which leads to a frothing section. The mixing apparatus is designed such that, in use, the frothing section fills sufficiently with steamed milk that has a direct path from the second port to the mixing chamber is interrupted by the steamed milk. This provides a noise reduction during use of the mixing apparatus. A flow reducing means, such as a barrier, may be used for this purpose.
Absorbent and method for producing an absorbent
An absorbent is provided, which is produced from component A, a foaming agent, and component B, a resin. Furthermore, a device and a method for producing the absorbent and a method for absorbing a liquid by means of the absorbent are provided.
FOAMED POLYMERIC COMPOSITION
The present disclosure relates to an extrusion apparatus comprising: a) a planetary roller extruder; b) a melt pump arranged downstream of the extruder; c) optionally, a fluid feeding equipment; d) a static cooling mixer equipment arranged downstream of the melt pump; e) a foaming equipment arranged downstream of the static cooling mixer equipment. The present disclosure also relates to a process of manufacturing a foamed polymeric composition and uses thereof.
Foam-in-bag systems and components thereof
A system includes a dip tube, a feed line, and a check valve. The dip tube is inserted through an opening in a source of chemical precursor and into the chemical precursor in the source. A portion of the feed line is located in the dip tube. The feed line passes out of the dip tube. The chemical precursor is capable of flowing out of the source through the feed line in a downstream direction. The check valve is located in the portion of the feed line in the dip tube. The check valve permits the chemical precursor to pass substantially only in the downstream direction. The feed line is coupled to a transfer pump that draws the chemical precursor out of the source through the portion of the feed line in the dip tube.
Meta-stable detergent based foam cleaning system and method for gas turbine engines
Embodiments in accordance with the present disclosure include a meta-stable detergent based foam generating device of a turbine cleaning system includes a manifold configured to receive a liquid detergent and an expansion gas, a gas supply source configured to store the expansion gas, and one or more aerators fluidly coupled with, and between, the gas supply source and the manifold. Each aerator of the one or more aerators comprises an orifice through which the expansion gas enters the manifold, and wherein the orifice of each aerator is sized to enable generation of a meta-stable detergent based foam having bubbles with bubble diameters within a range of 10 microns (3.9×10.sup.−4 inches inches) and 5 millimeters (0.2 inches), having a half-life within a range of 5 minutes and 180 minutes, or a combination thereof.
Mobile compressed foam firefighting system
A mobile compressed foam firefighting unit comprising a mixing chamber connected at the outlet to the foam feeder, and the following systems connected to the mixing chamber inlet: a water supply system comprising a water pump and a water pump drive, a foam concentrate supply system comprising a foam pump and a foam pump drive, and an air supply system comprising an air compressor and an air pump drive. The system includes a drive motor, and drives of the air compressor and the foam pump comprise variable hydraulic transmissions kinetically connected to the drive motor, and the system is equipped with a water flow meter, a throttle valve with an electric drive and a check valve, and an electronic control unit of the throttle valve installed in the water supply pipe between the water pump and the mixing chamber.
APPARATUS FOR AERATING A PASTY PRODUCT AND FOR MIXING WITH ANOTHER PRODUCT
The invention relates to an apparatus for aerating a pasty product. The apparatus comprises a housing (1) with an inlet (4) for the pasty product to be aerated and an outlet (5) for the aerated product.
The apparatus comprises at least a first set of a rotor and a stator (21) and a second set of a rotor and a stator (22). The apparatus further comprises a gas injector (6) for injecting, upstream of the first set of a rotor and a stator (21), a gas into the pasty product to be aerated.
The apparatus further comprises an intermediate mixing chamber (7) provided in the housing between the first and the second sets of a rotor and a stator (21,22). A secondary product introduction means protrudes into the intermediate mixing chamber (7) so as to issue into said intermediate mixing chamber (7).
