The Venturi body also includes a louver extending from an internal surface of the mixer housing to a distal edge that is downstream of the body outlet. An upstream vane is positioned within the Venturi body proximate the body inlet and is coupled to an upstream vane hub that is centered on an upstream vane hub axis. A downstream vane is positioned within the Venturi body proximate the body outlet and is coupled to a downstream vane hub that is centered on a downstream vane hub axis. The upstream vane hub axis is radially offset from the body center axis by an offset distance and/or the downstream vane hub axis is radially offset from the body center axis by an offset distance.

The present inventive concept relates to a venturi nozzle apparatus. Specifically, an embodiment of the present inventive concept provides a venturi nozzle apparatus which mixes water and a gas to dissolve the gas in the water, the venturi nozzle apparatus including a housing in which a flow pipe through which at least one of the water and the water in which the gas is dissolved selectively flows and a bypass pipe which communicates with the flow pipe to selectively bypass at least one of the water and the water in which the gas is dissolved flowing through the flow pipe are disposed, an injector unit which is detachably inserted into the flow pipe of the housing and configured to selectively receive the gas and the water to dissolve the gas in the water, and a valve member which is inserted into the bypass pipe of the housing and configured to cause at least one of the water and the water in which the gas is dissolved to flow to at least one of the flow pipe of the housing and the bypass pipe of the housing.

At least one air passage connects the outside of the valve with the internal liquid passage. The at least one air passage is closed in the first and second positions of the control member and is opened in the third position.

In a device for infusing a gas from a gas source into a liquid beverage, a beverage container defines an interior for holding the liquid beverage therein. A venturi mixing device has a liquid inlet port in fluid communication with the beverage container, a gas inlet port in fluid communication with the gas source and a discharge port. The venturi mixing device is configured to infuse the gas received from the gas source into liquid beverage received from the beverage container. A faucet is in fluid communication with the discharge port of the venturi mixing device and is configured to dispense the liquid beverage infused with the gas.

Polyphasic pressurized homogenizer (PPH) and methods for methane purification

Ancillary embodiments and modifications to a homogenizer unit (“PPH”), and methods of use directed to purification of biogas or other raw methane streams. The apparatus includes a homogenizer body, one or more stream inlets (for the raw methane), one or more chilled water inlets, a mixing zone where the water stream is commingled with the raw methane stream, and a venturi immediately downstream from the mixing zone such that the commingled streams are pulled into the venturi resulting in homogenization. The PPH components are insulated to maintain the chilled water of the various streams at a cooled, below ambient temperature, increasing dissolution of the contaminant gases into the chilled water, and producing a purified methane stream including little or no H.sub.2S and CO.sub.2.

A premixing device includes: a gas flow passage forming member in which an x direction is used as an axial length direction, and a Venturi-shaped gas flow passage into which air can flow in from the outside is formed inside; and a blade portion positioned in the gas flow passage, extending in a y direction, and equipped with a fuel gas outlet. The blade portion includes first and second blade portions spaced apart from each other in a z direction, and an air flow path near the center through which a part of the air flows is formed between these first and second blade portions. At least one of a pair of surfaces of the first and second blade portions facing each other is equipped with an inner bulging portion that bulges in the z direction so as to squeeze a part of the air flow path near the center.
