Devices, systems and methods for mixing and/or introducing agrochemicals, comprising a mixer including a mixing chamber in which a liquid is able to flow, and a delivery point located on the mixing chamber for delivering an agrochemical into the mixing chamber, wherein the mixer includes means for generating backpressure in the liquid and the agrochemical in the mixing chamber, and a mixer system including a mixer, an injector, and an agrochemical source, wherein the injector is adapted to receive an agrochemical from the agrochemical source, and a method including the steps of supplying a liquid into a mixing chamber of a mixer or mixer system, delivering an agrochemical into the mixing chamber, and generating backpressure to the liquid flowing through the mixing chamber to effect mixing of the liquid and the delivered agrochemical.
SHOTCRETE NOZZLE ASSEMBLY
A shotcrete nozzle assembly comprising: a tubular body including a body sidewall defining a central passageway extending along a central longitudinal passageway axis, and water dispensing bores extending through the body sidewall and including: first and second sets of water dispensing bores positioned such that outlet openings thereof defined in an inner face of the body sidewall are disposed in a respective one of longitudinally spaced-apart first and second transversal planes extending perpendicularly to the passageway axis, at least some of the water dispensing bores being oriented such that the central bore axes thereof extend in a non-radial direction relative to the passageway axis, and such that an orthogonal projection of the central bore axes of the first and second sets of water dispensing bores onto one of the transversal planes forms first and second projected central bore axes which intersect each other at a first non-zero angle.
High speed injector apparatus with dual throttle bodies
An apparatus for mixing a first fluid into a flow path of a second fluid, the apparatus comprising: a chamber enclosing the flow path, the chamber including a second fluid first inlet for receiving its respective fluid. The apparatus also includes a second inlet arranged downstream of the first inlet and receiving the first fluid, as well as an outlet arranged downstream of the second inlet for discharging a mixture of the first fluid and the second fluid. The second inlet flows into the flow path and is formed by a shared fluid injector mounted transverse to the axial direction that one fluid and the two fluid flows through its chamber. The flow path includes two respective throttle bodies, each of which is pivotally arranged inside the chamber and attached to opposed sides of the chamber for controlling the flow area of the flow path.
High speed injector with an improved steam valve
A valve comprising a valve spindle housing located in the side of the chamber and including a first fluid inlet and a first fluid outlet, and a cylinder open along a portion of a longitudinal axis of the cylinder and rotatably mounted in the valve spindle housing. The cylinder is positioned in one position so that the cylinder completely obstructs the valve spindle housing outlet, not allowing any fluid to pass around the cylinder. The cylinder walls are solid except for having openings through a portion of the cylinder, so that when rotated to a closed position, the solid portion of the cylinder fully obstructs the valve spindle housing outlet, and when rotated to an open position, the first fluid can pass into the inside of the cylinder and then through the openings and out of the valve spindle housing.

METHOD AND APPARATUS OF GENERATING SUBSTANTIALLY MONODISPERSE DROPLETS
The invention relates to a method and an apparatus for generating substantially monodisperse droplets. The invention involves flowing a continuous phase fluid in a microfluidic passageway which extends along a longitudinal length direction and has a substantially constant cross section along the length direction. A dispersed phase fluid is introduced into the microfluidic passageway along a traverse direction through inlet orifices to generate droplets of the dispersed phase fluid in the continuous phase fluid. The inlet orifices have a substantially uniform diameter, and any adjacent two of the inlet orifices are arranged to be offset from each other in the length direction. The dispersed phase fluid is broken up by the shear stress generated by the continuous phase fluid to produce monodisperse droplets. By the offsetting arrangement of the inlet orifices, droplets formed by adjacent inlet orifices will not interfere with each other, thereby ensuring the uniformity of the droplets.
