BIDIRECTIONAL FLUTED AUGER
An apparatus can include a hollow tube, central shaft, agitation components, and bidirectional fluted auger. The hollow tube can have an inlet, outlet, and longitudinal central axis, and can facilitate the conveyance of foodstuff materials from the inlet to the outlet. The central shaft can extend along the longitudinal axis and can be rotationally driven both clockwise and counterclockwise. The agitation components can be coupled to the central shaft and can agitate and mix foodstuff materials being conveyed along the hollow tube. The bidirectional fluted auger can be coupled to the central shaft proximate the outlet, can rotate with the central shaft when the central shaft is rotationally driven, and can have a flow rate limiting inner cylinder, clockwise-progressing flute features, and counterclockwise-progressing flute features. The clockwise and counterclockwise progressing flute features can convey foodstuff materials toward the outlet when the bidirectional fluted auger is rotated clockwise or counterclockwise.

A waste treatment apparatus includes: a body having a spherical shape and configured to accommodate a waste therein; and a stirring unit configured to stir the waste accommodated in the body. The stirring unit includes: a main shaft horizontally and rotatably disposed at a center portion in the inside of the body; a plurality of main shaft stirring blades having a flat plate shape, the plurality of main shaft stirring blades mounted on a surface of the main shaft; a plurality of support rods assembled to the main shaft at a predetermined interval, the plurality of support rods extending perpendicularly toward an inner peripheral surface of the body; and a plurality of stirring blades each having a rectangular flat plate shape, the plurality of stirring blades being mounted on distal ends of the plurality of support rods on an inner peripheral surface side of the body.

An aqueous accelerator is mixed with the aqueous binder composition in a mixer shortly before the application. The method is very robust and makes it possible to quickly produce even large moulded bodies having a uniform surface and very good strength development properties.

The present disclosure is directed to an agitating system having a sub-hopper configured to receive particulate material, an agitator disposed within the sub-hopper and configured to promote movement of the particulate material through the sub-hopper, and a deflector configured to block a portion of the particulate material from exerting a force onto the agitator as the particulate material flows through the sub-hopper. The deflector is positioned such that the agitator extends beyond a first distal edge and a second distal edge of the deflector along a lateral axis.
COFFEE ROASTING SYSTEM WITH ROASTING AND COOLING SUBSYSTEMS
A bean roasting system includes a roasting subsystem and an air handling subsystem. The roasting subsystem includes a housing, an agitator actuator, an agitator, a bearing and a door. The housing has an inner surface defining an inner chamber for holding a batch of beans during a thermal roasting process. The agitator is coupled to the agitator actuator and includes a central shaft and a blade set mounted to the central shaft. The bearing supports the central shaft and is configured to prevent the blade set from contacting the inner surface of the housing. The door has a transparent window to allow viewing of the thermal roasting process. The air handling system is coupled to the roasting subsystem, includes a blower and heater, and is configured to circulate heated air through the roasting subsystem during the thermal roasting process.
CELL SEPARATION APPARATUS FOR BIOREACTOR
The present disclosure provides a cell separation apparatus for a bioreactor, which comprises: a cell separation component, which is arranged in a tank and immersed below the liquid level of the mixture and includes a filter membrane and a liquid guiding groove; and a tangential flow driving component, which includes one or more blades. The cell separation apparatus implements a low shear force and the filter membrane is not blocked easily. The present disclosure also provides a stirring system including a central shaft and a multi-layer paddle component. The multi-layer paddle component includes an upper paddle component, an intermediate paddle component and a bottom paddle component arranged around the central shaft.
