Burner
A burner includes a tubular inner tube portion and a tubular outer tube portion. The inner tube portion mixes fuel with air. The outer tube portion surrounds the inner tube portion. A peripheral wall of the inner tube portion has a gaseous mixture outflow hole. The gaseous mixture outflow hole causes a clearance between an inner peripheral surface of the outer tube portion and an outer peripheral surface of the inner tube portion to communicate with an interior of the inner tube portion. A peripheral wall of the outer tube portion has an air supplying hole. The air supplying hole further supplies air to the clearance.
GASEOUS FUEL MIXER ASSEMBLY FOR ENGINE AND ENGINE SYSTEM OPERATING METHOD
A gaseous fuel mixer assembly for an engine includes a mixer housing forming gas delivery openings, and positioned to extend across a flow path formed by an intake conduit for the engine. A spool valve is within a central bore in the mixer housing and includes gas distribution openings selectively connectable to the gas delivery openings by moving the spool valve within the mixer housing using a piezoelectric actuator coupled with the spool valve by way of a pivot arm. Sealing lands of the spool valve are in an alternating arrangement with the gas distribution openings, such that at the closed position the sealing lands block the gas distribution openings from the gas delivery openings, and at the open position the respective openings are fluidly connected.
GAS MIXING DEVICE FOR LINEARIZING OR CALIBRATING GAS ANALYZERS
A gas mixing device for linearizing or calibrating a gas analyzer. The gas mixing device includes a first gas inlet line for a first gas, a second gas inlet line for a second gas, a mixing channel having inlet openings which are arranged one behind the other in a flow direction, the inlet openings comprising a first upstream inlet opening and a second downstream inlet opening, and at least two valves which each comprise at least one inlet and one outlet. The at least two valves release or block a fluidic connection between at least one of the first gas inlet line and the second gas inlet line, and the mixing channel via the inlet openings. A flow cross section of the mixing channel is smaller at the first upstream inlet opening than at the second downstream inlet opening.
PREMIXING DEVICE AND COMBUSTION DEVICE EQUIPPED WITH THE PREMIXING DEVICE
A premixing device includes: a gas flow passage forming member in which an x direction is used as an axial length direction, and a Venturi-shaped gas flow passage into which air can flow in from the outside is formed inside; and a blade portion positioned in the gas flow passage, extending in a y direction, and equipped with a fuel gas outlet. The blade portion includes first and second blade portions spaced apart from each other in a z direction, and an air flow path near the center through which a part of the air flows is formed between these first and second blade portions. At least one of a pair of surfaces of the first and second blade portions facing each other is equipped with an inner bulging portion that bulges in the z direction so as to squeeze a part of the air flow path near the center.
Systems for anesthetic agent vaporization
Methods and systems are provided for delivering anesthetic agent to a patient. In one embodiment, a liquid anesthetic agent container includes a base region, an interior of the base region configured to hold liquid anesthetic agent, an adapter region, and a capillary force vaporizer (CFV) housed in the adapter region. The adapter region includes a coupling end configured to couple to a patient breathing circuit to supply anesthetic agent vaporized by the CFV to a patient.
Method for mixing at least two gases
A method of co-producing a nitrogen containing stream and a methanol stream, including producing at least an oxygen enriched stream and a nitrogen enriched stream in an air separation unit, introducing at least a portion of the oxygen enriched stream into an oxygen-based reformer, thereby producing a first syngas stream, introducing at least a portion of the first syngas stream into a methanol synthesis reactor, thereby producing at least a hydrogen containing stream and a methanol containing stream, introducing at least a portion of the methanol containing stream into a methanol distillation system, thereby producing a methanol product stream, introducing at least a portion of the nitrogen enriched stream, at least a portion of the first enriched hydrogen containing stream, and at least a portion of the second enriched hydrogen containing stream into an ammonia synthesis reactor, thereby producing an ammonia product stream.
LIQUID PRECURSOR BUBBLER
One or more techniques and/or systems are disclosed for saturating a gas with a liquid-borne compound. A bubbler container may be configured to contain a carrier liquid, which comprises a desired compound. The container may comprise at least one channeling plane, disposed between the top and bottom of the container, which may be configured to allow gas bubbles to travel through a circuitous, channeling route. The gas can be introduced to the container at a bottom portion of the container, into the carrier liquid comprising the compound. Carrier gas bubbles formed in the liquid may be forced to travel the channeling route to a top portion of the container, where gas saturated with the compound may be collected.
METHOD FOR MIXING GAS-FREE LIQUID OXIDANT WITH PROCESS LIQUID
Disclosed are systems and methods for mixing a gas-free liquid oxidant with a process liquid to form a homogeneous and gas-free mixture with minimized degassing. The mixing system comprises an injection device, integrating with a pipe through which a process liquid flows, configured and adapted to inject a gas-free liquid oxidant into the process liquid, and a mixer, fluidly connected to the pipe and the injection device, configured and adapted to mix the process liquid and the gas-free liquid oxidant therein to form a homogeneous and gas-free mixture of the process liquid and the gas-free liquid oxidant with minimal degassing. The method comprises the steps of a) injecting the gas-free liquid oxidant into the process liquid, and b) mixing the gas-free liquid oxidant and the process liquid to form the homogeneous and gas-free mixture. The gas-free liquid oxidant is ozone strong water.
GAS INJECTOR WITH BAFFLE
Gas injectors for providing uniform flow of fluid are provided herein. The gas injector includes a plenum body. The plenum body includes a recess, a protrusion adjacent to the recess and extending laterally away from the plenum body, and a plurality of nozzles extending laterally from an exterior surface of the plenum body. The plenum body has a plurality of holes in an exterior wall of the plenum body. Each nozzle is in fluid communication with an interior volume of the plenum body. By directing the flow of fluid, the gas injector provides for a uniform deposition.
