SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR PRODUCING HOMOGENOUS PHARMACEUTICAL COMPOSITIONS
Embodiments of the present disclosure generally relate to systems and methods for mixing pharmaceutical compositions, agents and/or ingredients together. In one embodiment, a method can include a shell and a flexible pouch disposed within the shell. The flexible pouch can include at least one active pharmaceutical ingredient and at least one delivery agent. Further, the flexible pouch and the shell can be configured to receive a dispensing member for dispensing a predetermined amount of a pharmaceutical composition. Methods can also include subjecting the container to high intensity vibrations for a predetermined mixing time to produce the pharmaceutical composition.

A system for mixing content of a container comprises a container includes an interior mixing element, an exterior drive system and a mixing device comprising an exterior bearing for coupling the exterior drive system to the interior mixing element of the container. The exterior bearing provides a driven non-rotating, nutating motion that drives the interior mixing element of the container so that it performs a mixing motion inside the container.

A shaking and/or mixing device comprises: a drive (7a) having a drive shaft (7), an eccentric unit (4) driven by the drive shaft (7) and having an eccentric hub (14), and a holder (20) for receiving at least one sample to be treated by the shaking and/or mixing device (1). The eccentric hub (14) and the holder (20) are connectable to one another by means of a releasable connection in order to transmit a movement of the eccentric hub (14) onto the holder (20) and the releasable connection is provided as an extension of the drive shaft (7).

A nucleic acid separating apparatus includes: a stirring mechanism that stirs and resolving-processes a specimen and a reagent injected into a process tube; a pressurized gas supply mechanism that supplies a pressurized gas to a filter cartridge having a specimen liquid including nucleic acid, the specimen liquid being injected in the filter cartridge after the resolving-process, to separate and collect nucleic acid from the specimen liquid; a dispensing mechanism that injects the specimen, a reagent, or the specimen liquid after the resolving-process into the process tube and the filter cartridge; and a move mechanism that moves the pressurized gas supply mechanism and the dispensing mechanism, wherein the dispensing mechanism includes: a suction and discharge mechanism that is capable of attaching a dispensing chip to the suction and discharge mechanism and detaching the dispensing chip from the suction and discharge mechanism, the suction and discharge mechanism being capable of suctioning and discharging a liquid through the dispensing chip; and a liquid supply mechanism that discharges a liquid from a nozzle.

A laboratory device, in particular for shaking and/or mixing substances, comprises a base unit, that comprises a drive apparatus, and a pivot unit, that is pivotably connected to the base unit by means of a bearing element about axes oriented perpendicular to a central axis of the base unit. The drive apparatus comprises an arrangement of magnetic elements at an inner side of a roll-off surface of the base unit and a control apparatus that is configured to control the arrangement of magnetic elements for generating a peripheral magnetic field along a closed path at an outer side of the roll-off surface to drive the roll-off section of the pivot unit by means of magnetic attraction and/or repulsion to make a rolling-off along said path.

A shaking system of cell culture includes a shaking unit, a side visual unit, a top visual unit and a control unit. The side visual unit is located at one side of the shaking unit. An automated selecting and mixing machine including a cabin disposed within a housing structure, the cabin configured to receive a container from a user, the container containing a base medium, a container engagement element, the container engagement element being movable from a first position to a second position to manipulate a lid of the container, a plurality of dispensers, the plurality of dispensers configured to dispense an element into the container to mix with the base medium, a mixing mechanism located in the cabin, configured to manipulate the container positioned within the cabin to achieve a mixed product, and a user interface coupled to the housing structure, wherein a user selects the mixed product using the user interface to initiate an automated process of the automated selecting and mixing machine, is provided.
