Refill containers with pressurized fluid chambers
In one example in accordance with the present disclosure, a refill container is described. The refill container includes a reservoir to house a volume of print compound and a chamber to house a pressurized fluid. A wall separates the reservoir from the chamber. A pressure release device of the refill container creates a fluid path between the chamber and the reservoir such that the pressurized fluid flows into the reservoir to mix with the volume of print compound. A trigger of the refill container activates the pressure release device.
System for Oxygenating a Biological Culture
A system for oxygenating a biological culture includes a container bounding a compartment and having a top wall, a bottom wall, and an encircling sidewall extending therebetween; a tubular member projecting into the compartment of the container and terminating at a terminal end; a gas supply coupled with the tubular member and being configured to blow gas through the tubular member; and a mixing element disposed within compartment of the container at a location between the terminal end of the tubular member and the bottom wall of the container, the mixing element being configured to mix the liquid.
CONTACTLESS MIXING USING MODULATED AIR JETS
Disclosed is a device for contactlessly mixing fluid present on the upper surface of the slide, where the device comprises a first nozzle array and a second nozzle array, the first nozzle array adapted to impart a bulk fluid flow to the fluid present on the upper surface of the slide, and the second nozzle array adapted to impart at least a first regional fluid flow to at least a portion of the fluid present on the upper surface of the slide
Methods and apparatus for gas stream mass transfer with a liquid
A system for performing a gas-liquid mass transfer includes a container bounding a compartment and having a top wall, a bottom wall, and an encircling sidewall extending therebetween. A tube has a first end and an opposing second end, the first end of the tube being disposed within the compartment of the container. A nozzle is disposed within the compartment of the container and has at least one outlet, the nozzle being coupled with the tube so that a gas can be passed through the tube and out the at least one outlet of the nozzle. The nozzle is sufficiently buoyant so that when a fluid is disposed within the compartment of the container, the nozzle floats on the fluid.
Contactless mixing using modulated air jets
Disclosed is a device for contactlessly mixing fluid present on the upper surface of the slide, where the device comprises a first nozzle array and a second nozzle array, the first nozzle array adapted to impart a bulk fluid flow to the fluid present on the upper surface of the slide, and the second nozzle array adapted to impart at least a first regional fluid flow to at least a portion of the fluid present on the upper surface of the slide.
Wind-driven rotating and shaking breather and breathing method
Disclosed is a wind-driven rotating and shaking breather, comprising an open container having a circular cross section, and a lid covering an opening of the open container and having a wind wheel and a motor. A rotating shaft of the motor is connected to the wind wheel. The wind wheel is mounted on a lower portion of the lid and composed of an impeller and a flat bottom plate disposed below the impeller. The wind wheel, horizontally arranged, is inserted into the open container and located above red wine contained in the open container. An edge of the lid or a side wall of the container is provided with an air outlet. The motor drives the wind wheel to extract air in the open container and discharge the air from the air outlet. By using the breather, the purpose of fast breathing is achieved. Also disclosed is a breathing method.
