The stirring element (100) has at least one non-permanently magnetized element (118) so that the stirring element (100) can be put in a rotational movement by externally induced reluctance forces. A drive device having at least two pair of coils (208) through which current flows also is provided. A mixing device system includes the mixing device and the drive device. A method also is provided for driving a stirring element in a mixing device.
MIXING APPARATUS AND SINGLE-USE APPARATUS FOR SAID MIXING APPARATUS
A mixing apparatus for mixing or stirring substances includes a mixing tank for receiving the substances, a rotor arranged in the mixing tank with which a vane for mixing or stirring the substances can be driven to rotate about an axial direction, and a stator arranged outside the mixing tank and with which the rotor can be driven contactlessly magnetically to rotate about the axial direction in the operating state and is supported magnetically with respect to the stator. A bar extends in the axial direction and is rotationally fixed to the rotor, and a limiting element fixed with respect to the mixing tank cooperates with the bar, with the limiting element being configured such that the bar rotates with respect to the limiting element and with a tilt of the rotor being limited by a physical contact between the bar and the limiting element.
Mixing system, mixing device, container, and method for mixing a fluid and/or a solid
The invention relates to a mixing system, in particular a bioreactor and/or a pallet tank, for mixing a fluid and/or solid, having a container (4), wherein the fluid and/or the solid and a rotatable stirring element (3) for mixing the fluid and/or the solid are arranged in the interior of the container (4). The mixing system furthermore has a mixing device (1) for receiving the container (4) and a drive device (2) for driving the stirring element (3). The drive device (2) comprises a stator (20) of a three-phase machine (10; 11), the stirring element (3) comprises a rotor (30) of the three-phase machine (10; 11), and the rotor (30) has at least one permanent magnet (31; 31′) and/or at least one short circuit rotor.

The present invention relates to a mixing device having a stirring element that comprises: a container for receiving fluids and/or solids; and at least one rotatable stirring element for mixing the fluids and/or solids; wherein the stirring element comprises a first bearing element and a second bearing element which are arranged at or near opposite ends of the stirring element; wherein the first bearing element is mounted on a first face of the container and the second bearing element is mounted on an opposite second face of the container; wherein the first bearing element comprises at least one non-permanently magnetized element such that it can be moved in rotation by externally induced reluctance forces, and wherein the second bearing element is mounted in a contactless manner by externally induced magnetic forces. The invention also relates to a mixing device system.

Magnetically Driven Liquid Dispersion Devices
In accordance with aspects and embodiments, a magnetically driven liquid dispersion device is provided comprising a rotor, a funnel, and a rotary sprayer. The rotor is received by the funnel comprises an Archimedes screw and at least one diametric rotor magnet. The sprayer receives the funnel and comprises at least one diametric sprayer magnet. Application of an external rotating magnetic field generated by, for example, magnetic stirrer, causes the rotor to rotate within the funnel. Rotation of the rotor causes rotation of the sprayer about the funnel.

An agitator comprising a rotatable impeller comprising blades, magnets, and a shaft, wherein the impeller is configured to be driven by a drive unit magnetically coupled to the impeller, and an impeller seat receiving the rotatable impeller, the impeller seat comprising an upwardly arranged cylindrical housing, a flange, and a base, the cylindrical housing comprising a central opening for the impeller shaft, and the base comprising a collar and pins arranged to engage with a locking and centering mechanism, as well as a mixer engagement unit including the agitator, a mixer system, a mixing vessel, and methods of using the agitator, mixer engagement unit, mixer system, and mixing vessel, are disclosed.
METHODS OF MIXING AND DISPENSING CELLS
A vessel having a mixer that ensures a homogeneous cell distribution in dispensed quantities. The vessel has a mixer therein for stirring contents of the vessel and an orifice in a lower wall to which a cell dispenser is attached. The cell dispenser dispenses quantities of suspended cells having a homogeneous cell distribution. The vessel may be a closed system with no option or instructions for removing a cap or other access port, whereby after manufacturing the vessel is shipped to a customer and the interior remains closed to the exterior environment and fluids are transferred through tubes.
