MAGNETIC MIXING APPARATUS
A magnetic mixing apparatus is disclosed. A magnetic mixing apparatus according to one embodiment of the present invention comprises: a shaft which passes through a driving motor unit and which is rotatably coupled to the driving motor unit; a first housing which is coupled to one side of the driving motor unit and which is provided outside a stirring container to accommodate an upper part of the shaft; a rotary rotor which is coupled to the end of the shaft at a stirring container side during normal operation and which has a first permanent magnet; and an impeller unit which is arranged inside the stirring container and which has a second permanent magnet magnetically coupled to the first permanent magnet during normal operation, wherein the first housing includes a magnetic separation rotary rotor support part formed to protrude inward so as to support, from the downward direction, the rotary rotor, which is down-driven so as to move downward from the shaft, when there is magnetic separation by which magnetic coupling is released through magnetic deformation of the first permanent magnet and/or the second permanent magnet.
MAGNETIC-BASED ACTUATION MECHANISMS FOR ACTUATING MAGNETICALLY-RESPONSIVE MICROPOSTS IN A REACTION CHAMBER
Magnetic-based actuation mechanisms for and methods of actuating magnetically-responsive microposts in a reaction (or assay) chamber is disclosed. For example, a microfluidics system is provided that includes a microfluidics device (or cartridge) that includes the reaction (or assay) chamber in which a field of magnetically-responsive surface-attached microposts is installed. The presently disclosed magnetic-based actuation mechanisms are provided in close proximity to the magnetically-responsive microposts wherein the magnetic-based actuation mechanisms are used for actuating the magnetically-responsive microposts. For example, the magnetic-based actuation mechanisms generate an actuation force that is used to induce, for example, synchronized beat patterns and/or metachronal beat patterns in the magnetically-responsive microposts. Additionally, a method of using the presently disclosed magnetic-based actuation mechanisms for actuating the magnetically-responsive microposts is provided.
Cartridge, detection method, and detection device
The present invention provides a cartridge, a detection method, and a detection device capable of stabilizing the liquid level of a sample accommodated in a chamber in a predetermined state. A cartridge 20, that is rotated around a rotating shaft 42 for detecting a target substance, is provided with a chamber 100 in which a sample containing a target substance is stored. The chamber 100 includes a first region 110 in which a sample is stored, a second region 120 disposed at a position closer to the rotating shaft 42 than the first region 110, and a protrusion 130 protruding from a position between the first region 110 and the second region 120 to the inner side of the chamber 100.
Gas-saturated liquid generator
A gas-saturated liquid generator having a vessel of the generator, a hollow bell in its upside down position located with a tube for gas supply, and a mixer situated in the area for saturated liquid covered by the bell is disclosed. The entire bell is submerged below the surface of the saturated liquid. On a shaft projecting from a driving equipment, the mixer provided with a foaming spring is situated. The mixer provided with a magnetic carrier seated rotatably on the protrusion formed by a bulge in the bottom part of the generator vessel may be used. The preferred bell forms are dome-shaped, cylindrical or conical.
PORTABLE PREPARATION ASSEMBLY AND METHOD TO PREPARE LIQUID COSMETIC/CLEANSER PRODUCTS
A portable preparation assembly to prepare liquid cosmetic/cleanser products in a personalised way has a container which is configured to contain a solvent liquid and includes a base wall, a lateral wall and an upper opening opposite to the base wall; a housing seat configured to house a solid cosmetic/cleanser and arranged at least partially inside the container; and a stirring device which is configured to stir the solvent liquid in the container so as to determine at least partial dissolution of the solid cosmetic/cleanser in the solvent liquid and mix the dissolved solid cosmetic/cleanser with the solvent liquid to obtain the liquid cosmetic/cleanser product.
METHOD AND DEVICE FOR SUSPENDING CELLS
The invention is related to a device for suspending particles in a fluid, wherein the mixing device includes a first magnet (1) rotating around a longitudinal axis (2), a mixing rod (4) attached to a mount (6), the mount including a second magnet (3), wherein the mount (6) moves in a substantially orthogonal motion to the longitudinal axis of the mixing rod (4) by the interaction of the rotating first magnet with the second magnet (3).
A MIXER FOR A FOOD PRODUCT
A mixer for a food product is described, including a vessel, an stator arranged in the vessel, and a rotor to rotate the food product relative the stator The stator is displaceable relative the rotor by a movement along a stator guide The stator guide includes an interior cavity being enclosed by a wall extending into the vessel, and a first magnetizable material arranged inside the cavity The stator includes a second magnetizable material, wherein a magnetic field between the first and second magnetizable materials generates a force that moves the stator along the stator guide for displacement of the stator relative the rotor.
