An apparatus includes an integrated heat exchanger and reactor module. The integrated heat exchanger and reactor module includes a heat exchanger channel, and a reactor channel which is thermally coupled to the heat exchanger channel. The reactor channel includes a layer of catalyst material that is configured to produce hydrogen by endothermic catalytic decomposition of ammonia, which flows through the reactor channel, using thermal energy that is absorbed by the reactor channel from the heat exchanger channel.
Electrically heated dehydrogenation process
Systems and processes for dehydrogenating one or more alkanes using electrically heated dehydrogenation reactors. The source of electric energy or power can be a power grid, solar panel, windmill, hydropower, nuclear power, fuel cell, gas turbines, steam turbines, portable generator or the like. The systems and processes provided herein result in a simpler dehydrogenation process which is particularly beneficial at a small scale and at remote locations, including the well site.
FLOW REACTOR
A flow reactor can promote a reaction under appropriate temperature management, can precent reaction fluid or generated gas from being trapped in a heat transmission part, can be disassembled for easy cleaning, and to which a coating or lining can be applied. This flow reactor is provided with two flow paths, a reaction flow path and a second flow path, in a space formed between an inner cylinder and an outer cylinder that are concentric. A spiral heat transmission body is disposed between the inner cylinder and the outer cylinder, and the spiral heat transmission body has a substantially triangular cross-sectional shape in an axial cross-sectional view. The spiral heat transmission body partitions the space into the reaction flow path and the second flow path, and heat is exchanged via the spiral heat transmission body between a reaction fluid F1 flowing through the reaction flow path and a heat medium F2 flowing through the second flow path.
Reactor Assemblies and Methods of Performing Reactions
Reactors are provided that can include a first set of fluid channels and a second set of fluid channels oriented in thermal contact with the first set of fluid channels. The reactor assemblies can also provide where the channels of either one or both of the first of the set of fluid channels are non-linear. Other implementations provide for at least one of the first set of fluid channels being in thermal contact with a plurality of other channels of the second set of fluid channels. Reactor assemblies are also provided that can include a first set of fluid channels defining at least one non-linear channel having a positive function, and a second set of fluid channels defining at least another non-linear channel having a negative function in relation to the positive function of the one non-linear channel of the first set of fluid channels. Processes for distributing energy across a reactor are provided. The processes can include transporting reactants via a first set of fluid channels to a second set of fluid channels, and thermally engaging at least one of the first set of fluid channels with at least two of the second set of fluid channels.
COMBINED REACTOR FOR HIGH-PRESSURE SYNTHESIS OF MELAMINE
Reactor for the high-pressure non-catalytic synthesis of melamine from urea, comprising coaxial inner reaction zone (6) and outer reaction zone (7) wherein a crude melamine is formed in the inner reaction zone and contacted with gaseous ammonia for stripping in the outer reaction zone, wherein a gaseous phase liberated in the outer zone is collected in a gas collection chamber (12) above the reaction zones, wherein the crude melamine melt is transferred from the inner zone into the outer zone via a submerged liquid passage below the liquid level to provide a liquid seal between the chambers.
STRENGTHENING OXIDATION SYSTEM OF EXTERNAL MICRO-INTERFACIAL UNIT FOR PRODUCING PTA WITH PX
A strengthening oxidation system of the external micro-interfacial unit for producing PTA with PX is provided, including: a reactor, a circulating heat exchange device and a micro-interfacial unit. The reactor includes an outer casing and an inner cylinder disposed concentrically inside the outer casing. The circulating heat exchange device is disposed at an exterior of the reactor, and is connected with the outer casing and the inner cylinder respectively, for regulating reaction temperatures of the first reaction zone, the second reaction zone and the third reaction zone inside the reactor in a reaction process of producing PTA with PX. the micro-interfacial unit is connected between the reactor and the circulating heat exchange device, and connected with an external feed pipe of the reactor, for crushing a gas phase material into micro bubbles with a diameter greater than or equal to 1 μm and less than 1 mm and for mixing the micro bubbles with a liquid phase material to form an emulsion at the exterior of the reactor before a reaction material enters each of the reaction zones inside the reactor.
Apparatus for preparing oligomer
Provided is an apparatus for preparing oligomer including: a reactor for carrying out oligomerization reaction by supplying a monomer stream and a solvent stream; and line 1 and line 2 which are separately provided in a lower side of the reactor, wherein line 1 includes a first level control valve and line 2 includes a second level control valve, and the reactor is periodically alternately operated in first operation mode and second operation mode, thereby switching a pipe through which the product is discharged, so that a plugging phenomenon of the pipe through which the product is discharged and the valve can be prevented.
