The reactor channel includes a layer of catalyst material that is configured to produce hydrogen by endothermic catalytic decomposition of ammonia, which flows through the reactor channel, using thermal energy that is absorbed by the reactor channel from the heat exchanger channel.

A continuous acoustic chemical microreactor system is disclosed. The system includes a continuous process vessel (CPV) and an acoustic agitator coupled to the CPV and configured to agitate the CPV along an oscillation axis. The CPV includes a reactant inlet configured to receive one or more reactants into the CPV, an elongated tube coupled at a first end to the reactant inlet and configured to receive the reactants from the reactant inlet, and a product outlet coupled to a second end of the elongated tube and configured to discharge a product of a chemical reaction among the reactants from the CPV. The acoustic agitator is configured to agitate the CPV along the oscillation axis such that the inner surface of the elongated tube accelerates the one or more reactants in alternating upward and downward directions along the oscillation axis.

A CONTINUOUS FLOW REACTOR

A continuous flow reactor without any moving parts to facilitate solid-liquid reaction without clogging is disclosed herein. It comprises plurality of identical cavities in series/sequence, each cavity being provided with: a pair of inlets at the top to allow entry of reactants into the reactor; an outlet at the bottom to allow the reactants to the next cavity for mixing; and a jacket covering around the cavities to provide heating or cooling effect as per the requirement. The outlet of the previous cavity is inclined at a suitable angle relative to the outlet of the next cavity to prevent clogging and facilitate efficient mixing of the reactants.

The present invention uses the method of changing the inner diameter of the reactor and setting nozzles for diaphragm protection, fundamentally suppressing or even eliminating the coking phenomenon during the operation of the reactor, no need to set the decoking cycle, and realizing the continuous cracking operation of the reactor.
