A blister pack may include a containing body with an opening; and a lid sealed over the opening and provided with a weakening pattern, wherein a width of the lid at the weakening pattern is thinner that a width of the lid elsewhere, and wherein the lid is configured to burst at the weakening pattern when the blister pack is subjected to pressure, so as to allow liquid content inside the containing body to be discharged out of the blister pack through the burst weakening pattern. A blister pack holder is also disclosed.

GENOME EXTRACTION DEVICE INCLUDING SAFETY CLIP COMBINED WITH INNER CHAMBER

Provided is a genome extraction device including a safety clip combined with an inner chamber, more particularly a genome extraction device to which the above-described dual chamber structure is applied so that the genome extraction device can be stored stably for a long time without the risk of reagent leakage and an inner chamber is moved up and down by way of vibration generated during a production and distribution process of a product so that a sealing member for sealing upper openings and lower openings of the inner chamber can be prevented from being perforated.

Liquid storage and controlled-release device and biological detection chip

A liquid storage and controlled-release device and a biological detection chip. The liquid storage and controlled-release device comprises a liquid storage capsule with a liquid storage body which is deformable under a pressure, and a sealing layer for sealing the liquid storage body. A support platform is provided right below the liquid storage capsule and tightly connected with the liquid storage capsule, wherein, a directional release chamber is provided at the middle of the support platform, and the directional release chamber is provided with a guiding chamber for collecting the liquid and a sharp edge for inducing break. Compared with the conventional technology, the opening for liquid release is at the end far away from the rotation center, so that the liquid can be released completely by the centrifugal force, ensuring the quantitative release of stored liquid and reducing the influence on the accuracy of the subsequent detection.

METHOD FOR PROCESSING POLYNUCLEOTIDE-CONTAINING SAMPLES

Methods and systems for processing polynucleotides (e.g., DNA) are disclosed. A processing region includes one or more surfaces (e.g., particle surfaces) modified with ligands that retain polynucleotides under a first set of conditions (e.g., temperature and pH) and release the polynucleotides under a second set of conditions (e.g., higher temperature and/or more basic pH). The processing region can be used to, for example, concentrate polynucleotides of a sample and/or separate inhibitors of amplification reactions from the polynucleotides. Microfluidic devices with a processing region are disclosed.

An automatic chemical solution formulating device combines and mixes stored solids and liquids into user specified formulations and dispenses those formulations into containers. Chemical solids are stored in cartridges of material separated into predetermined dosages (for example in reeled blister packs), avoiding the need for weighing during formulation. Elements include user interface, computer-controlled automated loading and unloading port for reagent-containing cartridges, cartridge conveyor system, reader for identifying cartridges, blister-pack strip drive system, punching mechanism to release reagents, portioning chamber to mix solvent with solids or liquids with optional portioning, accommodating formulation delivery port, position sensors, liquid flow measuring devices, liquid and gas pumps and valves, and label printer. The combination of these elements allows high-speed formulation and dispensing of user-specified formulations.

The present invention provides a test barrel for placing a test paper card. The test barrel comprises a barrel body and a barrel lid; wherein the barrel body comprises a place reminding board arranged on the barrel body; and the barrel lid comprises an elastic piece arranged on the barrel lid and mating with the place reminding board. The test barrel for placing a test paper card according to the present invention is simple in structure and convenient in operation, and greatly reduces time for test. In addition, a place reminding structure is arranged on the test barrel, which facilitates use of the test barrel for the user and achieves sealing reminding. Further, the test result is accurate, the reusage rate is high, and cleaning is convenient.

Device for packaging balls for reaction vessels for an analysis appliance
11565265 · 2023-01-31 · ·

Disclosed is a device for packaging balls for reaction vessels for an analysis appliance, including: a body including at least one opening and used to house balls, a closing member, that can be moved relative to the body between a closed position in which the closing member closes the opening of the body, and an open position in which the opening of the body is open so as to allow the balls to be dispensed from the body.

BIOPSY CONTAINER ASSEMBLY

A biopsy container assembly having a container with a lower chamber suitable for containing a buffer liquid, and a cap coupled with the container. The cap being provided with a chamber that contains a biopsy liquid sealed by a membrane, and a crown with a toothing-suitable for tearing off the membrane of the cap. The crown is also suitable for being disposed in the container in an initial position, wherein the toothing is directed downwards in order not to interfere with the membrane of the cap when the cap is closed on the container, and in an operating position, wherein the toothing is directed upwards in order to tear off the membrane of the cap when the cap is closed on the container.

Tissue handling system with reduced operator exposure

A tissue handling system includes a biopsy device and a tissue storage container separate from the biopsy device. The biopsy device has a cutting cannula, a housing, and a tissue collecting device. The tissue collecting device is detachably received in the housing. The tissue collecting device is configured to receive at least one tissue sample. The tissue storage container is configured to detachably receive the tissue collecting device after the tissue collecting device is disengaged from the housing of the biopsy device to deliver the at least one tissue sample from the tissue collecting device to the tissue storage container.

DRY REAGENT CUP ASSEMBLIES AND METHODS

Dry reagent cup assemblies and methods are disclosed. In accordance with an implementation, an apparatus includes a liquid reservoir and dry reagent cup assembly. The liquid reservoir has a base, side wall that extends from the base, and distal opening. The dry reagent cup assembly coupled to the liquid reservoir includes a dry reagent cup and liquid impermeable barrier.
