The present invention relates to a brush cutting head for a brush cutter. The brush cutter head includes a cylindrical support body that has a first end, an opposed second end and an intermediate portion extending therebetween. The intermediate portion has a curved surface that defines the circular cross-section of the cylindrical support body. A plurality of collars is mounted to the cylindrical support body at spaced intervals along the intermediate portion. Each collar extends radially from the curved surface of the cylindrical support body. Additionally, each collar cooperates with an adjacent collar to define a mounting station between the adjacent collars. The brush cutter head further includes a plurality of cutting tooth assemblies carried on the outer surface of the cylindrical support body. Each cutting tooth assembly has a cutting tooth for placement within the mounting station and a mounting assembly engageable with the adjacent collars to secure the cutting tooth in the mounting station.

MODULAR SYSTEM FOR PERFORMING A PLURALITY OF CRUSHING AND GRINDING PROCESSES

A modular system for performing a plurality of crushing and grinding processes, including: a plurality of interchangeable milling heads, each interchangeable milling head having a milling mechanism configured to perform one of the plurality of crushing and grinding processes when driven; a driving unit including a driving motor having a range of motor characteristics; and a connecting unit configured to functionally connect one of the interchangeable milling heads to the driving motor such that, when connected, the one of the plurality of interchangeable milling heads can perform the one of the plurality of crushing and grinding processes. Each of the plurality of interchangeable milling heads further includes an adaptor unit configured to connect the milling head to the connecting unit and for converting the range of motor characteristics of the driving motor into the milling driving characteristics of the connected interchangeable milling heads.

SECONDARY SHREDDER
20170348696 · 2017-12-07 ·

A secondary shredder can include a rotor assembly that employs a modular rotor design. Each rotor of the rotor assembly can include a number of blades that are symmetrical around a horizontal and a vertical axis. Each rotor can include a number of radial extensions forming gaps into which the blades insert. The blades can be secured within the gaps by wedges that apply an inward force against the blades when the wedges are secured into the gaps. The radial extensions and blades can include keyways into which keys insert to prevent the blades from escaping the gaps. The secondary shredder may also include a stationary knife assembly that includes multiple stationary knives that are positioned on the same side of the rotor assembly.

MATERIAL PROCESSING HEAD AND TOOL
20170297032 · 2017-10-19 ·

A material processing tool assembly includes a tool for material processing having a base section and a processing section extending from the base section; and a tool mounting block mountable on an outer surface of a support base. The mounting block has a base surface and a tool mounting surface intersecting the base surface. The base surface has a protuberance extending away therefrom and spaced apart from the tool mounting surface to define a tool receiving gap between the protuberance and the tool mounting surface. The base section of the tool is snugly received in the tool receiving gap between the tool mounting surface and the protuberance in abutment with the tool mounting surface, the processing section of the tool extending past the protuberance. A displaceable material processing head and method of mounting a material processing tool to a mounting block secured to a displaceable head are also discussed.
