MILLING SYSTEM
A milling system to comminute a material may generally include a hopper feeder system, a cutting mill, a collection system, each in fluid communication to provide a flow path, and a control system. The control system may include a controller operatively connected to at least one sensor to sense the amount of material, if any, along the flow path, and the speed, if any, of the material along the flow path. The control system, in response to signals received from the at least one sensor, may cause at least one of the hopper feeder, cutting mill, and collection system to increase the speed, decrease the speed, or stop the flow of material along at least a portion of the flow path. Methods of making and using the same are also described.
AUTOFEED PAPER SHREDDER WITH CLIP AND STAPLE REMOVAL
A paper shredder with counter-rotating shredder blades coupled to a shredder motor, including a paper tray having a floor and being shaped to receive paper. The floor has an offset slot therein adjacent to the counter-rotating shredder blades. The engagement wheels partly protrude through floor, adjacent to the offset slot. The engagement wheels frictionally engage paper and turn towards the offset slot to force paper into the shredder blades. Also, a dentate catch disposed in each corner of the paper tray temporarily holds an affixment while a sheet of paper held by the affixment is being frictionally engaged by the engagement wheels to enter the slot for comminution. A PAPER FULL sensor, a DOOR OPEN sensor, an OVERLOAD sensor, an OVERHEAT sensor, a paper-in-tray sensor, a paper-at-entry sensor, a SAFETY LOCK sensor, and a cover door open/closed sensor are provided, as are AUTO and MANUAL modes of operation.
SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR SECURE DISPOSAL AND REMOVAL OF PRINTING RIBBON
Systems and methods for secure card printing ribbon removal may include a shredding unit, a collection unit, and a processor. The shredding unit may shred card printing ribbon and generate ribbon waste. The collection unit may be removably attached to the shredding unit and receive ribbon waste from the shredding unit. The collection unit may comprise a transparent material, a visual fill line, and a sensor that determines the amount of ribbon waste contained in the collection unit. Upon determination that the amount of ribbon waste exceeds a threshold, the sensor may generate a signal. The processor may operate the shredding unit and the collection unit, receive the signal generated by the collection unit, and generate, based on the signal, a prediction of a remaining capacity of the collection unit. The ribbon may include material containing sensitive information.
FOOD WASTE DISPOSAL APPARATUS
Proposed is a food-waste disposal apparatus, in particular, including a housing; a plurality of grinding blades provided inside the housing and grinding food waste put into the housing; a grinding shaft mounted with the plurality of grinding blades at setting intervals and rotatably installed at one side of the housing; a grinding scraper comprising a plurality of scraper projections and preventing food waste from getting stuck between the grinding blades; and a scraper guide provided inside the housing, guiding the grinding scraper to turn to a mounting position, and supporting the grinding scraper in a mounting state, wherein the grinding scraper is mounted at the mounting position as turned along the scraper guide after the grinding scraper is laid on the grinding blades through an upper opening of the housing so that the scraper projections can be disposed between the grinding blades.
One hundred sheet dual throat auto-feed paper shredder
The paper shredder simultaneously shreds both manually inserted sheets of paper and sheets of paper that are placed in an auto-feeder input tray. Immediately above the shredding mechanism the input path is bifurcated. One branch extends essentially straight up from the blades and leads to a manual input slot. A second branch extends at an angle towards the rear of the shredder where an auto-feed roller lies at the bottom of an auto-feed slot. When a stack of paper is placed into the slot, the bottom of the stack rests against the auto-feed roller which grasps the top sheet and pulls it under the roller. The roller then pushes the sheet down the angled throat where a curved surface bends the sheet downwards and into the shredding mechanism.
Method and an apparatus for grinding meat
A method to grind meat in a grinder, includes: providing the meat to the grinder via a hopper where the hopper includes a feeder worm for feeding the meat to a process unit. The process unit has a rotating processing worm and a cutting set. The rotating processing worm can receive the meat from the feeder worm and convey it to the cutting set, which grinds the meat. The method involves automatically adjusting the revolutions per minute of the rotating processing worm in response to a pressure creation in the process unit.

The roller then pushes the sheet down the angled throat where a curved surface bends the sheet downwards and into the shredding mechanism.
WORK MACHINE WITH BELT TENSIONING SYSTEM AND METHOD
A work machine having a belt tensioning system is described. A belt is engaged with an engine drive sheave and a driven sheave of a rotor having a plurality of cutting tools configured for reducing wood infeed material. An idler pulley is mounted to an idler arm that is hinged to the machine frame. An actuator is hinged to the idler arm and the frame. The actuator may be extended and retracted in order to press the idler pulley into stronger and weaker engagement with the belt in order to set the desired amount of tension in the belt. One or more sensors may be used to sense the amount of tension in the belt, and the one or more sensors may be in communication with a control system that controls the actuator to monitor and adjust the belt tension so that it is maintained within desired limits.
