APPARATUS FOR PROCESSING AGGREGATE MATERIAL
An apparatus for processing aggregate material includes a chassis, a trough mounted on the chassis at an inclined angle, and at least one shaft rotatably mounted within the trough and extending from a lower to an upper end of the trough. The at least one shaft has blades mounted thereon, the blades being angled so that they carry material within the trough towards the upper end of the trough when the at least one shaft is in a normal direction of rotation. A discharge opening is formed in a base of the trough adjacent the upper end of the trough, a weir being provided in the trough upstream of the discharge opening over which processed material must pass to reach the discharge opening.
SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR FOUR DIMENSIONALLY SEPARATING MATERIALS
This application discloses a separator for separating and recovering materials from a waste stream. The separator has a cyclone having a top section and a bottom section, an impeller within the cyclone, a media inlet for accepting a flow of media or a pulsating flow of the media operatively connected to the impeller in which media or fluid flows through the impeller into the separator; a first discharge passage for a collecting a light fraction, and a second discharge passage for collecting a heavy fraction.
Mercury collection system
A system for collecting mercury from feed material that can be tailings comprises: a water inlet for forming a slurry containing the tailings; at least one screen for separating tailings greater than ¼ inch in diameter from the slurry to form a screened slurry; a rotatable collection chamber containing a plurality of plates, a drive for rotating the collection chamber for collecting mercury on the plates to provide a discharge material comprising water and treated tailings, the treated tailings containing less mercury than in the feed material.
Washing and separating method and apparatus for plastics materials
A method and apparatus for washing and separating pieces of plastics material from contaminants includes supplying to a washing container pieces of plastics material containing contaminating material and an entering flow of washing fluid. A turbulent stirring action to detach and separate mechanically the contaminating material from the plastics material is generated, evacuating through overflowing, through an outlet port An outlet flow of washing fluid and a quantity of plastics material that has undergone the turbulent stirring action is evacuated by overflow through an outlet port. A controlled-conveying and retaining arrangement is driven to retain the plastics material in the washing container and to advance in a controlled manner the quantity of plastics material to the outlet port independently of the advancement of the outlet flow of washing fluid. An adjustable bulkhead is arranged in the washing fluid at a depth with respect to the free surface to divert from the outlet port the pieces of plastics material that, once supplied to the container, by advancing more on the surface, tend to reach the outlet zone of the washings container. The bulkhead guides and forces the pieces of plastics to undergo the turbulent stirring action to separate and detach the adhering contaminants therefrom.
SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR EXTRACTING PARTICULATE FROM RAW SLURRY MATERIAL
A separation system for separating solids from a slurry of waste material, the separation system comprising a housing, a drum assembly, and a drive assembly. The housing defines a collection chamber. Liquid within the collection chamber defines a liquid level. The drum assembly defines a perforated cylindrical wall and the drum assembly is supported such that at least a portion of the drum assembly is below the liquid level. The drive assembly rotates the drum assembly relative to the housing.

ARTIFICIAL MULCH CLEANING SYSTEM
An artificial mulch cleaning system includes a vehicle with a housing having a front end, a back end and a plurality of wheels. A collecting assembly is attached to and extends forward of the front end. The gathering assembly has a distal end with respect to the front end. The distal end engages and captures rubber mulch positioned on the ground surface. A cleansing assembly is mounted on the vehicle rearward of and in communication with the collecting assembly. The cleansing assembly cleans the rubber mulch brought into the vehicle by the collecting assembly. A spreading assembly is attached to vehicle and is in communication with the cleansing assembly such that the spreading assembly receives the rubber mulch from the cleansing assembly. The spreading assembly dispenses the rubber mulch from the back end of the vehicle.
Hydraulic particle separation apparatus for placer mining
A hydraulic particle separator is described. The particle separator comprises a main body having a top, a bottom, and a wall enclosing an interior cavity. At least one feed port is disposed on the top of the main body to introduce crude particle mixtures. A partition disposed within the cavity separates the cavity into a lower chamber and an upper chamber. The partition has at least one orifice for fluidic communication between the upper chamber and lower chamber. One or more grooves extend vertically along the interior surface of the wall. At least one tangential flow inlet port is disposed along the wall of the upper chamber above the partition.
