Method for processing electronic and electrical device component scrap
Provided is a method for processing electronic and electrical device component scrap, which can accurately and efficiently sort electronic and electrical device component scrap. The method for processing electronic and electrical device component scrap includes a separation step of separating non-metal objects 1b or metal objects 1a.sub.1, 1a.sub.2 from electronic and electrical device component scrap 1 containing the metal objects 1a.sub.1, 1a.sub.2 and the non-metal objects 1b using a sorter 10 comprising a metal sensor 2, a color camera 3, an air valve 4, and a conveyor 5, wherein a fixed distance is provided between the metal objects 1a.sub.1, 1a.sub.2 adjacent to each other so as to prevent the non-metal objects 1b between the metal objects 1a.sub.1, 1a.sub.2 from being erroneously detected, when detecting the metal objects 1a.sub.1, 1a.sub.2 in the electronic and electrical device component scrap 1 by the metal sensor 2.
MAGNETIC CLEANING DEVICE
A magnetic cleaning device includes a handle unit, a main unit, and a deforming mechanism. The main unit includes a housing and a magnetic member. The deforming mechanism is connected between the handle unit and the main unit. The housing defines an accommodating space extending along an axis. The magnetic member is disposed in the accommodating space, and is movable along the axis between an attraction position, where the magnetic member is adjacent to an end of the housing, and a non-attraction position, where the magnetic member is away from the end of the housing. The main unit is movable relative to the handle unit via operation of the deforming mechanism.
System and method for processing scrap material
A system for processing scrap material that includes a variable-power electromagnetic drum separator wherein shredded scrap material is placed in free fall at a position proximate the electromagnetic drum separator. A first fraction of the scrap material is attracted to the electromagnetic drum separator and is carried under the rotational axis of the electromagnetic drum separator thereby separating the first fraction of material from a second fraction of the material which continues to free fall and wherein the first fraction is a low-copper ferrous material with the second fraction having a higher non-ferrous content than the first fraction. A magnetic drum separator may be positioned upstream of the variable-power electromagnetic drum separator and be used to separate non-ferrous materials. The variable-power electromagnetic drum separator may be adjusted so that the second fraction includes some ferrous material. A robotic picker may be used to remove undesirable materials from the second fraction.
Waste management system
A waste management system for plastic or other material floating on the surface and in the subsurface of a body of water. A shredding device will reduce the size of the particles of waste. Ocean water is removed by a drying device. The dried waste material is frozen to a temperature at or below minus fifty degrees Fahrenheit, using liquid nitrogen or other suitable means. The frozen waste material is then pulverized and ground into a powder. The powder may then be sprayed into a gas-filled chamber and heated. Temperature, pressure and humidity are maintained within the chamber for more than one minute. Microwave or other radiation and catalysts may be used to enhance the process of extraction. The processed material is then removed from the chamber. Carbon may be recycled or used as fuel by the ship. Water may be used by the ship or returned to the ocean.
METHOD FOR POWER BATTERY AUTOMATIC FINE-QUANTITY SORTING AND APPARATUS THEREOF
The present invention discloses a method for power battery automatic fine-quantity sorting and an apparatus thereof, the method including the following steps of Si. The material is crushed, and leveled, and is then subjected to magnetic sorting processing to sort out iron powder; S2. The material after magnetic sorting is subjected to electrostatic processing to sort out positive electrode material powder; S3. The material after electrostatic processing is subjected to bounce processing to sort out the collector and graphite powder. A magnetic sorting device, an electrostatic sorting device, and a bouncing sorting device are accordingly provided.
Magnetic Filter
A magnetic filter according to one embodiment of the present disclosure includes a housing through which fluid or powder containing metal particles passes; magnets arranged inside the housing; and a rotation unit that rotates the magnets so as to revolve around the rotation center, wherein the magnets include first magnets and second magnets located farther from the rotation center than the first magnets, and wherein any one of the second magnets forms an equilateral triangle arrangement with two first magnets adjacent to any one of the second magnets.
FOREIGN SUBSTANCE CAPTURE APPARATUS AND FACILITY FOR MANUFACTURING ELECTRICAL STEEL SHEET INCLUDING SAME
A foreign substance capturing apparatus according to an embodiment of the present invention may comprise: a capturing body unit having an inlet port for introducing the air including magnetic foreign substances and an outlet port for discharging the air from which the magnetic foreign substances have been removed; and a magnetic isolation unit connected to the capturing body unit, including a magnetic member for isolating, by an attractive force, the magnetic foreign substances from the air flowing in the capturing body unit, and provided with a non-magnetic member surrounding the magnetic member.
METHOD, APPARATUS, AND SYSTEM FOR LITHIUM ION BATTERY RECYCLING
The present application provides a system and method for discharging and processing of lithium ion batteries to extract one or more metals. The extracted metals are in a powder form that can be reused at second stage processing facilities. The extracted metal powder can include lithium and at least one of cobalt, nickel, manganese, and carbon.
Magnetic separation device and method of use
The current invention relates to the method and apparatus to magnetically separate biological entities with magnetic labels from a fluid sample. The claimed magnetic separation device removes biological entities with magnetic labels from its fluidic solution by using a soft-magnetic center pole with two soft-magnetic side poles. The claimed device further includes processes to dissociate entities conglomerate after magnetic separation.
Ferromagnetic Material Sequestering Device
A ferromagnetic material sequestering device for separating metals from a waste stream generated by a vacuum includes a shell, which has a bottom and a top. The bottom is open and a hole is positioned in the shell proximate to the top. A connector is engaged to the shell proximate to the hole engages a hose that is operationally engaged to a vacuum generator so that the vacuum generator is in fluidic communication with the shell. The vacuum generator is positioned to suction a mixture of objects through the shell. A magnet is engaged to the shell and magnetically engages ferromagnetic materials in the mixture of objects. The ferromagnetic materials thus are sequestered within the shell and can be reclaimed.
