COMPOSITE NOZZLE FOR AUTOMOBILE
A composite nozzle comprises: a housing having formed at one side thereof a cleaning liquid inlet through which the cleaning liquid is introduced, an installation port communicating with the cleaning liquid inlet at the other side thereof, and an air inlet path communicating with an air inlet on the outer side of the installation port; an opening and closing valve installed so as to be slidably movable toward one side and the other side in the installation port formed in the housing; an elastic body such as a spring that slidably moves the opening and closing valve while elastically supporting the opening and closing valve; and a cap which sprays the cleaning liquid to the outside from the other end of the housing in which the opening and closing valve is installed so as to be slidably movable in one direction and the other direction of the installation port.
CUP-SHAPED SHOWER JET OUTLET NOZZLE AND SHOWER DEVICE
A shower jet outlet nozzle includes a hollow chamber (1), a lateral wall (2) delimiting the hollow chamber transversely to a nozzle longitudinal axis (D.sub.L), and a bottom (3) delimiting the hollow chamber in the direction of the nozzle longitudinal axis on an outlet side, which bottom is made of an elastic material and in which a jet outlet opening structure (4.sub.S) including one or a plurality of jet outlet openings (4) and having an open initial configuration, wherein the bottom is configured with the jet outlet opening structure thereof, under the effect of a shower fluid operating pressure in the hollow chamber, to deform in an elastically resilient manner and thereby to steadily increase an opening cross-section of the jet outlet opening structure with increasing shower fluid operating pressure within a normal operating pressure range. According to one aspect, the jet outlet opening structure (4.sub.S) is spaced apart from the lateral wall (2), and the bottom (3) on an inner side (3.sub.I) and/or on an outer side (3.sub.A) has a weakening pattern (5) with a lesser wall thickness as compared to an adjacent region of the bottom, wherein the weakening pattern is designed to deform in an elastically resilient manner under the effect of the fluid operating pressure in the hollow chamber (1).
Liquid discharge apparatus, imprint apparatus, and method
A liquid discharge apparatus includes: a discharge head including a discharge portion configured to discharge a liquid; a cap configured to cap the discharge portion; a suction unit configured to suck an interior of the cap through a first fluid passage communicating with the interior of the cap in a state in which the cap caps the discharge portion; an open/close unit configured to open/close a second fluid passage communicating with the interior of the cap, the open/close unit being set in an open state when a negative pressure state of the interior of the cap, which is generated by suction by the suction unit, is canceled; and a filter arranged in the second fluid passage.
Self sealing jetting valve
An apparatus for use in marine platform jacking is disclosed herein. In one aspect, a jetting valve includes a valve body with a piston assembly disposed therein. The piston assembly is selectively operated to open and close the valve. A biasing member is coupled to the piston assembly. The piston assembly includes a first piston and a second piston. The dual pistons, in cooperation with the biasing member, allow the valve to self-seal thereby preventing entry of a fluid which is external to the valve.
DEVICE FOR PROVIDING MIST TO A SURROUNDING ENVIRONMENT
The invention relates to a device (10) for providing mist to a surrounding environment, the device (10) comprising a housing unit (12) having an inlet opening (18), an outlet opening (20), and a chamber (22) extending between the inlet opening (18) and the outlet opening (20) along a central axis (24); a nozzle unit (14) including at least one orifice (26); wherein the nozzle unit (14) is arranged in the chamber (22), the nozzle unit (14) being slidable along the central axis (24) between a closing position, in which the nozzle unit (14) closes the outlet opening (20), and an opening position, in which the at least one orifice (26) connects the chamber (22) to the surrounding environment in fluid communication; wherein the nozzle unit (14) transfers from the closing position to the opening position if a fluid pressure at the inlet opening (18) exceeds a predefined threshold; wherein the nozzle unit (14) comprises a deflector part (28) for deflecting fluid in the opening position and for closing the outlet opening (20) in the closing position, wherein the at least one orifice (26) is arranged offset to the central axis (24) between the inlet opening (18) and the deflector part (28); wherein the at least one orifice (26) is configured to guide fluid flowing through the at least one orifice (26) and to lead the fluid towards the deflector part (28). The invention provides an improved device (10) for providing mist to a surrounding environment, which reduces the required amount of fluid and increases the efficiency of the fluid distribution.

The invention relates to a spray nozzle comprising an elastomeric tube (1) comprising a proximal end (7) through which a fluid is intended to enter said tube (1), and a distal end (8). The spray nozzle also comprises a slit (9) formed in the elastomeric tube (1) between the proximal end (7) and the distal end (8), for spraying the fluid out from the elastomeric tube (1). The elastomeric tube (1) includes a reinforcing element (10, 11) for limiting deformation of the elastomeric tube (1). By providing a slit in a tube between the proximal and distal ends of the tube, the slit can be sized to provide a broad spread pattern to the spray. The reinforcing element prevents over-expansion or deformation of the elastomeric tube.
