Multi-Mode Rotor Sprinkler Apparatus And Method
A multi-mode sprinkler adjustable for part or full circle operation to irrigate a selected area is provided. The sprinkler includes a nozzle for dispensing fluid, a set of gears for rotating the nozzle, and an arc setting mechanism that cooperates with the set of gears. The arc setting mechanism comprises a fixed trip for switching to a first direction for the nozzle and an adjustable trip movable relative to the fixed trip for setting an arc of rotation for the nozzle in the part circle mode. The arc setting mechanism also includes a toggle for engaging the fixed trip and the adjustable trip to switch between a first direction and a second direction when in the part circle mode. In the full circle mode, the adjustable trip is deflected radially outward, and the fixed trip deflects radially outward as it passes the toggle, allowing continuous rotation of the nozzle. A memory arc function is also provided, in which the arc setting mechanism returns to an originally set arc of rotation after mishandling of the sprinkler.
IRRIGATION SPRINKLER
An irrigation sprinkler may comprise a sprinkler, a connecting base, an operating member, a driving lever, and a locating unit. A protruding portion protruding from a central portion of a top surface of the operating member has an arc-shaped top end to form two abutting surfaces at two sides of the arc. Moreover, one of the two abutting surfaces is configured to be abutted by the driving lever when the irrigation sprinkler changes the rotating direction. The driving lever has a first portion, a second portion, and a third portion, and a bottom end of the third portion has an upward recess formed at a central portion thereof. The recess of the third portion of the driving lever is configured to cover the protruding portion completely, which improves the driving actions between the driving lever and the operating member.
Oscillator and flow diverter for a sprinkler system
A programmable, electronically controlled sprinkler system has a hermetically sealed internal chamber which encloses all of the internal water flow, valves, mechanical and rotational components. A plurality of magnetic coupling arrangements allows external motors to control operation of the internal mechanical components without requiring any hydraulic seals.
Low bypass high torque turbine and stator for a rotating irrigation sprinkler
A rotating sprinkler for irrigation is disclosed. The sprinkler can include a stator spaced upstream from a turbine to form a mixing region therebetween. The stator can define a primary flow path and a bypass flow path. The primary flow path is aligned relative to the plurality of blades so that water exiting the primary flow path traverses the mixing region and impinges on the plurality of blades at a first angle of attack. The bypass flow path is aligned relative to the primary flow path so that water exiting the bypass flow path intersects the water exiting the primary flow path in the mixing region to cause the water exiting the primary flow path to impinge on the plurality of blades at a second angle of attack. The sprinkler can further include a valve configured to regulate flow between the primary flow path and the bypass flow path.
