An apparatus for wetting a roller (e.g. with paint) includes a liquid containment area having a first side wall, a second side wall, a first end wall and a second end wall, and a sloping bottom section connected to form a rectangular container capable of holding a liquid. The sloping bottom section slopes such that a first end of the rectangular container is deeper than a distal opposing end such that the liquid tends to drain and pool in the first end. A lip extends inwardly continuously around the top edges of the side walls. The lip reduces spilling of paint, adds stiffness to the tray, and provides a base for the attachment of a roller cleaning mesh. In some embodiments, a roller cleaning mesh is mounted to the lip above the first end for rolling a roller over to remove debris from the roller.

A device including a roller cage configured for connection to a frame of a paint roller. The roller cage includes a distal end cap having an outer wall. The roller cage also includes a roller cage body connected to the distal end cap, the roller cage body including a first side wall and a second side wall opposed to the first side wall. The first side wall and the second side wall radially extend less than a radius of the distal end cap. The roller cage also includes a crest disposed at least partially within the roller cage body and extending radially past the first side wall and the second side wall.

An improved paint roller tray includes a paint roller tray and a pair of strips. The pair of strips is mounted onto the ramp of the paint roller tray. The pair of strips is positioned offset and parallel to each other in order to create a recessed space between the pair of strips and the ramp. The configuration of pair of rollers on the ramp allows the improved paint roller to wipe the excess paint from a paint roller.

The invention is directed to an ergonomic tool holder, adaptable to a conventional pole and having a handle and a supporting base. These are coupled to an interconnecting unit in a non-permanent manner. The coupling of the handle to the interconnecting unit and the coupling of the supporting base to the interconnecting unit allows the tool holder to be assembled, having the handle in straight or multiple angled positions with regard to the supporting base and wherein the tool may be held and positioned along the X-X, Y-Y, or Z-Z axes. A given conventional utensil used in working activities such as painting or maintenance may be clamped and secured on the supporting base. Thus, the User may position such utensils in the tool holder straight or in the angled position at their convenience and may change such positions easily and quickly.

A cylindrical conical cleaning tool that includes: an opening; a top edge with a first diameter; and a bottom edge with a second diameter, wherein the second diameter is smaller than the first diameter and said second diameter adapted to fit along an outer surface of a paint roller. The cylindrical conical cleaning tool further includes an inner surface, where the inner surface is adapted to channel moisture away from the paint roller. In another embodiment, the cylindrical conical cleaning tool includes a lip at the top edge, wherein the lip is adapted for gripping purposes.

Provided is a paint roller that may include a wire frame and a magnetic shield selectively attachable to the paint roller. The wire frame may comprise a configuration including multiple bends. In an embodiment, the wire frame may include a straight portion, a first bend, a second bend that directs the frame at a 180° angle relative to the straight portion, and a third bend that directs the wire frame at an angle less than the first and second bends. The bends and legs of the wire frame may be positioned in the same plane. The paint roller may further comprise a handle, a roller cage, and a roller cover. The magnetic shield may be selectively attachable to an end of the paint roller. The shield may include a generally circular shaped face that defines a circumference having a slightly smaller circumference than the circumference of the paint roller cover.

A paint saving paint tray is disclosed. The paint tray may be adapted for coupling to a paint container, and may comprise a base, one or more sidewalls extending in an upward direction from the base, a reservoir for holding paint, wherein the reservoir is defined by the base and the one or more sidewalls, securing mechanism in at least one sidewall of the one or more sidewalls for coupling the paint tray to the paint container, and drainage spout in the at least one sidewall, wherein the drainage spout is adapted to drain paint from the paint container into the paint tray via inverted placement of the paint container on the paint tray, or drain paint from the paint tray into the paint container via placement of the paint tray onto the paint container. Methods of using the paint tray and a paint tray system are also disclosed.
