A multilayer board includes: a front-side layer; an intermediate layer; a back-side layer; the front-side layer; a first ground terminal and a second ground terminal for connecting ground lines of a plurality of shield lines to be connected to the multilayer board; a plurality of signal line connecting terminal arrays each including a plurality of signal line connecting terminals for connecting respective signal lines of the shield lines; and a wire having a thermal conductivity, the wire extending to the second end on the intermediate layer.
Piezoelectric micromachined ultrasound transducer device with multi-layer etched isolation trench
A piezoelectric micromachined ultrasonic transducer (PMUT) device includes a layer of piezoelectric material that is activated and sensed by an electrode and a conductive plane layer. The conductive plane layer may be electrically connected to processing circuitry by a via that extends through the piezoelectric layer. One or more isolation trenches extend through the conductive plane layer to isolate the conductive plane layer from other conductive plane layers of adjacent PMUT devices of a PMUT array.
Mounting structure, ultrasonic device, ultrasonic probe, ultrasonic apparatus, and electronic apparatus
A mounting structure includes: a first substrate that has a first surface on which a functional element is provided; a wiring portion that is provided at a position, which is different from a position of the functional element on the first surface, and is conductively connected to the functional element; a second substrate that has a second surface that is opposite to the first surface; and a conduction portion that is provided on the second surface, is connected to the wiring portion, and is conductively connected the functional element. The shortest distance between the functional element and the second substrate is longer than the longest distance between the second substrate and a position where the wiring portion is connected to the conduction portion.
Individual sensor-actuator for generating a haptic effect on a panel, and use of same
A system includes sensor-actuator units fixed onto a plate to be actuated according to at least one predetermined vibratory mode, each sensor-actuator unit having an electromechanical actuator and a deformation or vibratory speed sensor, wherein the electromechanical actuator and the sensor are colocated on the surface, that is to say that the measurement by the sensor is performed in immediate proximity to the electromechanical actuator, this proximity being such that the actuator and the sensor can respectively actuate and measure the same predetermined vibratory mode.
MEMs device and electronic device
An MEMS device includes: a first member; a second member forming a sealed space with the first member therebetween; and a third member disposed between the first member and the second member and joined to the first member and the second member, in which the third member has lower rigidity than rigidity of the first member and the second member, and the third member is provided with a communication portion that establishes communication between the sealed space and an external space.
ULTRASOUND PROBE AND THE ULTRASOUND DIAGNOSTIC DEVICE USING SAME
An ultrasound probe is provided which maintains sufficient adhesion strength of the layers that configure the ultrasound probe and which matches the acoustic impedance of a piezoelectric element to that of the organism; also provided is an ultrasound diagnostic device provided with said ultrasound probe. This ultrasound probe (100a) is characterized by comprising a backing layer, a piezoelectric element layer (6E), an acoustic matching layer (2A) and an acoustic lens (1), laminated in that order, wherein an adhesion layer (14A) containing vanadium glass is provided between the piezoelectric element layer (6E) and the acoustic matching layer (2A).
Ultrasound probe enabled for ultrasound reception operation of at least two modes
A two-dimensional array ultrasound probe, which is enabled for ultrasonic reception operation of a continuous wave Doppler mode (C mode) and an imaging mode (B mode). The probe includes a reception circuit provided for each transducer and a first multiplexer; a plurality of first wires connected to the first multiplexer; a second wire connected to a plurality of first wires outside the array; switches that are provided to the second wire and that can be turned off to adapt to phasing addition units; a plurality of second multiplexers connected to the second wire and a plurality of first output ports for the first mode; and a plurality of second output ports that are connected to each region between the switches on the second wire and that are used in the second mode.
Ultrasonic probe and probe head for ultrasonic probe
The ultrasonic probe according to a present embodiment includes a piezoelectric vibrator and an acoustic lens. The piezoelectric vibrator is configured to transmit and receive an ultrasonic wave. The acoustic lens is provided on an ultrasonic-wave transmission/reception side. The acoustic lens is formed in such a manner that a surface shape of each of end regions located on both sides of a central region of a surface of the acoustic lens is formed to have a curvature different from a curvature of a surface shape of the central region of the surface of the acoustic lens.
ULTRASONIC MICRO-ARRAY IMAGING SYSTEM
A spot-welding electrode assembly includes an electrode, an electrode cap at an outer end of the electrode, and a plurality of transducer elements positioned inward of the electrode cap. The transducer elements may be micro-elements. A method for monitoring a weld formed by a spot-welder includes passing current from an electrode assembly through a stack-up, transmitting an ultrasonic wave from each of a plurality of sources in the electrode assembly to a plurality of points in the stack-up, and monitoring the ultrasonic waves to monitor the weld formation.
METHODS OF TREATING TUMORS WITH PRO DRUGS
Methods of treating tumors by administering compounds to a patient are provided. Compounds such as pro drugs, e.g., 5-aminolevulinic acid (5-ALA), may be administered to the patient orally, by injection, intravenously, or topically, which then accumulate preferentially as compounds such as protoporphyrin IX (PpIX) in tumor cells. After such accumulation, compounds such as PpIX are then activated in various aspects to treat tumors cells, thereby treating cancer. Cancers such as glioblastoma may be treated.
