SYSTEM FOR ANTI-BIOFOULING
20180001356 · 2018-01-04 ·

The invention provides an anti-fouling lighting system (1) configured for preventing or reducing biofouling on a fouling element (1201) of an object (1200). The fouling element (1201) is during use at least partly moving and at least temporarily exposed to water. Fouling is prevented by irradiating an anti-fouling light (211) onto said fouling element (1201). The anti-fouling lighting (1) system comprises at least one laser light source (2) configured to generate the anti-fouling light (211) and to provide said anti-fouling light (211) to said fouling element (1201) during use, wherein the system (1) is arranged such that during use the fouling element (1201) at least partly moves with respect to the laser light source (2).

ELECTROSTATIC LENS CLEANING

An automotive camera including a camera lens with one or more conductive accumulators and a method of cleaning the camera lens using the conductive accumulators. The automotive camera includes a lens bezel coupled to the camera lens. The lens bezel may be coupled to the conductive accumulators. The conductive accumulators receive electric charge from a power supply of a vehicle and concentrate the electric charge on pointed ends of the conductive accumulators. The charged, pointed ends attract water particles away from the camera lens. The water particles accumulate at the conductive accumulators until gaining sufficient mass. When sufficient mass is gained, the water particles flow across the lens bezel and away from the camera lens.

METHOD FOR PREVENTING FORMATION OF BIOFILM

MITIGATING IMPACT OF ION BUILDUP ON PH SENSOR PERFORMANCE

A self-vibrating pH probe comprise a housing containing an electronic assembly to which is coupled a vibration source element so that at least a portion of vibrations caused by the vibration source element propagate to the electronic assembly, the vibration source element being controllable for at least on/off operation. The self-vibrating pH probe further comprising a pH probe member having a probe tip at a first end, the probe member extending from the housing and mechanically and electrically coupled by a second end to the electronic assembly so that at least a portion of vibrations propagating to the electronic assembly further propagate to the probe tip; and further including a processor coupled to the electronic assembly for coordinating operation of the vibration source element and operation of the pH probe member.

A method of cleaning an HVAC coil unit located above a drain basin. One step of the method involves providing a supply and collection assembly having a reservoir containing liquid cleaning solution, a pump operative to output the liquid cleaning solution through a supply outlet, and a vacuum source operative to draw in used liquid cleaning solution through a collection inlet. According to another step, a nozzle device in fluid communication with the supply outlet is also provided, the nozzle device having a delivery face. A further step involves providing a fluid return tool in fluid communication with the collection inlet, and positioning the fluid return tool in the drain basin. According to a further step, the delivery face of the nozzle device is moved across a surface of the HVAC coil unit to deliver the cleaning solution into areas between fins thereof.

Methods of reducing or eliminating deposits after electrochemical plating in an electroplating processor

Methods and apparatus for reducing the formation of insoluble deposits in semiconductor electrochemical plating equipment or a surface thereof during electrochemical plating, including: removing electrochemical plating equipment or a surface thereof from an electroplating solution, wherein residual electroplating solution is disposed atop the electrochemical plating equipment or a surface thereof, and wherein the residual electroplating solution has a first pH; contacting the residual electroplating solution with a rinse agent having a second pH similar to the first pH to form a rinsate; and removing the rinsate from the electrochemical plating equipment or a surface thereof.
