INSPECTION OR CLEANING PIG
A pig is provided for passing through a pipeline having a pipeline wall. The pig comprises at least one functional unit for cleaning the pipeline and/or for receiving pipeline information. The pig also comprises at least one magnet unit which is provided for magnetizing the pipeline wall, and which has a plurality of magnets. The magnet unit has a plurality of segments each with at least one magnet. The magnetizing devices of mutually adjacent segments are angled at least by approximately 90° to one another.
Water main flushing with high pressure jetting
A high pressure jetting system for use with a water supply system includes a recirculating unit to connect to an isolated section of the water supply system. The isolated section remains under water supply system pressure. The recirculating unit includes a filter unit and a pump unit capable of generating a circulating flow of water. A first pig launch and recovery apparatus couples a first hydrant to the recirculating unit and a second pig launch and recovery apparatus couples a second hydrant to the recirculating unit. A jetting unit including a jetting head is coupled to a jetting hose. The jetting unit enters the closed circuit through the second pig launch and recovery apparatus and travels within the isolated section. The jetting head emits a plurality of water jets to assist removal of material from an inner surface of the water mains and pipes.

Water main flushing with high pressure jetting and directional control
A high pressure jetting system includes a recirculating unit connected to an isolated section of a water supply system which remains under system pressure. The recirculating unit includes a filter unit and a pump unit generating a circulating flow of water. A first pig launch and recovery apparatus couples a first hydrant to the recirculating unit and a second pig launch and recovery apparatus couples a second hydrant to the recirculating unit. A camera unit including a camera and drogue chute enters through the first apparatus and travels in a flushing flow direction to the second apparatus. The drogue chute is then removed from the camera. The camera then couples to a jetting unit having a jetting head and hose and re-enters through the second apparatus. The jetting unit emits a plurality of water jets to move in a counter-current flow direction and remove material from the water mains.
Systems and methods for decoking a coker furnace during a delayed coking process
Systems and methods for efficient on-line pigging of a coker furnace without interruption of the delayed coking process, which will save time and money during the delayed coking process. This system can be retrofitted to existing coker furnaces.
Hydrocarbon production field layout
A hydrocarbon production field layout comprising a first pipeline (1) with a first inner diameter and a second pipeline (2) with the first inner diameter. A cut off valve (20) with an inner bore with the first diameter, is arranged in a connecting arrangement between an end of the first pipeline (1) and an end of the second pipeline (2). At least one dual main header manifold (3) is in fluid connection with at least one hydrocarbon well (8, 9). A first branch pipe (16, 18) with a first valve (5, 6) is branched off from the first pipeline (1) and a second branch pipe (17, 19) with a second valve (5, 7) is branched off from the second pipeline (2). The branch pipes are connected to the at least one manifold (3, 4).
Directed jet impulse pig launching system and method of its use
A pig trap of this disclosure may include one or more injectors or nozzles located along a sidewall of the barrel and oriented to deliver a jet of fluid toward a back side of a vertical member of a pig or tool. The nozzle may be part of an assembly that includes a longitudinally extending pipe having a flat-profile flange at an inlet end, a curved-profile flange at the nozzle end, and a bend in between the two ends. When the assembly is installed in a sidewall opening of a pig trap, the nozzle delivers a jet of fluid toward the back side of a vertical member of the pig. A leak path may be provided through flanges or formed between the sidewall opening and a periphery of the curved-profile flange. Launch forces of more than 10 to 15 times that of a conventional launcher may be achieved.
STANDALONE PIGGING SKID
Devices and methods to drive a pig along an interior tube or pipeline are described herein. The pigging unit may be separate from any large trailer to allow for operation of the pigging unit in locations with spatial constraints. The apparatus generally includes a skid, internal components, access points on the exterior of the skid, and a control device.
MODULAR DECOKING ASSEMBLY
A modular decoking assembly with a transportable container and multiple prefabricated modules that can be installed within the transportable container, and methods of forming a decoking unit with a plurality of prefabricated modules within a container.
