Systems and methods for decoking a coker furnace during a delayed coking process
Systems and methods for efficient on-line pigging of a coker furnace without interruption of the delayed coking process, which will save time and money during the delayed coking process. This system can be retrofitted to existing coker furnaces.
Cleaning assembly for a tubular drag conveyor
A cleaning pig assembly is provided for use on a tubular drag conveyor. The assembly is quickly and easily mounted anywhere along the cable, chain, or rope via slots in the assembly components. The components include a puck, a plate, a drag disc, and a cleaning member or tool sandwiched between the puck and the plate. The drag disc provides interference fit on the cable, chain, or rope holding the assembly on the cable, chain, or rope and prevents sliding of the assembly along the cable, chain, or rope during use. The cleaning assembly is installed without the use of tools or clamps. Multiple interchangeable cleaning members are provided depending on cleaning needs.
Cleaning coke deposits from process equipment
A method for cleaning a coke deposit from an internal surface of a process equipment, comprising removing at least a portion of the coke deposit from the internal surface using a flexible pig comprising a plurality of bristles, without damaging a metal protective layer of the internal surface of the process equipment. A flexible pig for cleaning a coke deposit from an internal surface of a process equipment without damaging a metal protective layer of the internal surface, comprising a flexible body formed of a polymeric material, and a plurality of bristles partially encapsulated by the polymeric material of the flexible body.

PIG INCLUDING AN X-RAY FLUORESCENCE SENSOR
A pig for use in a pipeline is provided for determining the material of the pipeline in the context of an inline inspection. The pig includes a position determination unit and at least one braking arrangement for immobilizing the pig at a certain position in the pipeline. The pig also includes an X-ray fluorescence sensor.
Subsea pig launchers
A compact subsea pig launcher comprises a tubular magazine for holding a plurality of pipeline pigs in longitudinal succession ready for launching successively into a subsea pipeline. The magazine is shaped to define at least one turn such as a coil around an upright axis. Thus, a series of pigs are stored in longitudinal succession along a path that is curved in plan view around the upright axis. During launching, at least one of the series of pigs is advanced along the path with angular movement around the upright axis.
SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR CLEANING PNEUMATIC CONVEY LINES
A cleaning system for cleaning a pneumatic conveyance system used to transport particulate material. The pneumatic conveyance system includes a material-introduction device for introducing particulate material into a convey line, and a motive air source for generating an air flow to propel the particulate material through the convey line. The cleaning system comprises a projectile comprising a cleaning surface for cleaning an interior of the convey line as the projectile travels through the convey line, a launcher for injecting the projectile into the convey line, with the launcher being coupled with the convey line at a position upstream from the material-introduction device, and a catcher vessel for receiving the projectile upon said projectile exiting the convey line.
