Rolling mill, and method for setting rolling mill
There is provided a rolling mill that includes a plurality of rolls, in which any one roll among respective rolls is adopted as a reference roll, including a load detection apparatus, detects a vertical roll load at a rolling support point position; a pressing apparatus pressing the roll chocks in the rolling direction; a driving apparatus moving the roll chocks in the rolling direction; and a position control unit which fixes a rolling direction position of roll chocks of the reference roll, and drives the driving apparatus to control positions in the rolling direction of the roll chocks of the rolls other than the reference roll.
Rolling apparatus for flat-rolled metal materials
[Object] To provide a rolling apparatus capable of accurately detecting a rolling direction force applied to a work roll chock. [Solution] A rolling apparatus for flat-rolled metal materials including a pair of upper and lower work rolls 1 and 2 includes a pair of work roll chocks 5 and 6 configured to hold the respective work rolls 1 and 2, housings 10 configured to hold the work roll chocks, and rolling direction force measurement devices 21, 22, 23, and 24 configured to measure rolling direction forces. The rolling direction force measurement devices include a plurality of load detection devices on an entry side or an exit side of the work roll chocks in a rolling direction, and the plurality of load detection devices are provided to one of the housings, and the plurality of load detection devices are disposed in a manner that, during rolling of the flat-rolled metal materials, at least two of the load detection devices are arranged adjacent to each other in a draft direction facing a side surface of a corresponding one of the work roll chocks. In this case, the at least two load detection devices are disposed in a manner that a line extending in the rolling direction and including a roll axis, which is a point of effort of a rolling direction force, is interposed between the at least two load detection devices in the draft direction.
Method and computer program product for calculating a pass schedule for a stable rolling process
A method and a corresponding computer program product calculate a pass schedule for a stable rolling process when rolling metal strip in a rolling mill. The offset here is varied until the calculated target horizontal force satisfies a predefined limit criterion. The satisfaction of the limit criterion means that the set of rolls and the rolling process are stable. For cases in which a sole iteration of the offset of the working roll does not result in the limit criterion being satisfied, the present invention provides that the draws on the material to be rolled are then changed on the feed side and/or on the outlet side of the rolling stand with constant offset until the calculated target horizontal force satisfies the limit criterion.
ROLLING DEVICE AND MEASURING DEVICE
A rolling device and a measuring device are disclosed. A rolling assembly in the rolling device is movably mounted on a bracket in a first direction (a) parallel to a working surface, and when a member to be rolled is placed on the working surface, the rolling assembly provides a rolling pressure to the member to be rolled. In a rolling process, the rolling assembly moves in the first direction (a), so as to be capable of ensuring that the rolling pressure applied to the member to be rolled is constant and always perpendicular to the member to be rolled, that is, ensuring that the rolling pressure remains constant, thereby reducing the influence of external factors on the rolling process and improving the accuracy of a measurement result.
