METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR PRODUCING FLAT METAL PRODUCTS
Method for the production of flat metal products, in particular coils of strip, in endless and/or semi-endless mode, in which a metal product is continuously fed to a rolling mill consisting overall of at least 4 stands. The rolling stands are, in sequence, roughing stands, and finishing stands. It is provided to perform a flying gauge change of the metal product exiting from the rolling mill.

Regulating a rolling process
A method and a regulating device for regulating a rolling process, wherein a rolling material is rolled in a rolling gap between two working rollers of a rolling stand. A target forward slip value (f.sub.s) for a forward slip (f) of the rolling material is specified, and an actual forward slip value (f.sub.M) of the forward slip (f) of the rolling material is ascertained. The forward slip (f) of the rolling material is regulated to the target forward slip value (f.sub.s) in that a lubricant rate (u.sub.R) of a lubricant is applied to the rolling material and/or at least one working roller depending on the actual forward slip value (f.sub.M) and the target forward slip value (f.sub.s).
Regulating a rolling process
A method and a regulating device for regulating a rolling process, wherein a rolling material is rolled in a rolling gap between two working rollers of a rolling stand. A target forward slip value (f.sub.s) for a forward slip (f) of the rolling material is specified, and an actual forward slip value (f.sub.M) of the forward slip (f) of the rolling material is ascertained. The forward slip (f) of the rolling material is regulated to the target forward slip value (f.sub.s) in that a lubricant rate (u.sub.R) of a lubricant is applied to the rolling material and/or at least one working roller depending on the actual forward slip value (f.sub.M) and the target forward slip value (f.sub.s).
Dynamic contact heat transfer simulation device for rolling heavy-load deformation zone
The present invention provides a dynamic contact heat transfer simulation device for rolling heavy-load deformation zone. The device includes a control system, a data acquisition system, a pressure-adjustable fixed cold end, a rotating chuck, a temperature-adjustable heat-conducting rod and an speed-adjustable rotation hot end; the device utilizes the rotating chuck and the speed-adjustable rotating hot end to adjust the rotation speed in real time according to the actual rolling conditions, simulate the working conditions of the actual rolling heavy-load deformation zone, and accurately obtain the dynamic heat transfer coefficient of the rotating contact interface under variable load pressure conditions.
CONTINUOUS ROLLING SYSTEM
When the tracking point reaches the i-th stand, the continuous rolling system outputs, to an i-th stand, a roll gap operation value for bringing to zero a difference between a value which is obtained by correcting a strip thickness target value of the i-th stand with a target strip thickness correction value of the i-th stand and a value which is obtained by correcting a strip thickness actual recalculation value of the i-th stand with a gap correction value of the i-th stand. Here, the gap correction value is a correction value that brings to zero a difference between a head end gap error when a head end of the material to be rolled reaches the i-th stand and a non-head end gap error when a part other than the head end of the material to be rolled reaches the i-th stand.
CONTINUOUS ROLLING SYSTEM
When the tracking point reaches the i-th stand, the continuous rolling system outputs, to an i-th stand, a roll gap operation value for bringing to zero a difference between a value which is obtained by correcting a strip thickness target value of the i-th stand with a target strip thickness correction value of the i-th stand and a value which is obtained by correcting a strip thickness actual recalculation value of the i-th stand with a gap correction value of the i-th stand. Here, the gap correction value is a correction value that brings to zero a difference between a head end gap error when a head end of the material to be rolled reaches the i-th stand and a non-head end gap error when a part other than the head end of the material to be rolled reaches the i-th stand.
REMOTE CONTROL OF A PLANT FOR PRODUCING AND/OR TREATING A ROLLED PRODUCT MADE OF METAL
Sensors detect states of units of a plant for producing and/or treating a rolled product made of metal and transmit them to an automation system. The state signals (Z) are, in part, dimensional signals. The automation system determines, by taking into account the state signals (Z), control signal signals (S) for actuators associated with the units and actuates the actuators accordingly. The automation system includes at least one model-based system which models the behavior of the system and/or of the rolled product in real time. The automation system transmits the state signals (Z), the control signals (S) and/or signals derived therefrom at least in part via an open data network to a human-machine interface arranged at an operating location. The transmitted signals comprise at least one of the dimensional signals. The automation system takes specifications (V) from the human-machine interface in determining the control signals (S).
FLEXIBLY ROLLING METAL STRIP MATERIAL
An apparatus for processing metallic strip material comprises a feeder for feeding strip material; a strip drive with at least one controllable traction drive with a carrier and a motor, a drivable traction loop and a press assembly, wherein the power of the motor and the pressing force of the press assembly are variably controllable; a roller assembly for flexible rolling; a measuring device for measuring a physical parameter of a component acting on the strip material; wherein the driving power of the motor is controllable on the basis of the physical parameter measured by the measuring device.

An apparatus for processing metallic strip material comprises a feeder for feeding strip material; a strip drive with at least one controllable traction drive with a carrier and a motor, a drivable traction loop and a press assembly, wherein the power of the motor and the pressing force of the press assembly are variably controllable; a roller assembly for flexible rolling; a measuring device for measuring a physical parameter of a component acting on the strip material; wherein the driving power of the motor is controllable on the basis of the physical parameter measured by the measuring device.
