SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR PRODUCING A TRAILER WHEEL
This application describes the creation of a wheel disc for a trailer using a three-hit manufacturing process.
METHOD AND PLANT FOR THE PRODUCTION OF A RIM FOR A WHEEL OF A VEHICLE
A method and a plant for the production of a rim for a wheel of a vehicle. At first and by means of an additive manufacturing process, a temporary rim is manufactured, which is provided with a central hub, with a raw ring arranged around the central hub and with a series of spokes, which are radially arranged and connect the raw ring to the central hub; subsequently, the temporary rim is subjected to a flow-forming process, which deforms the raw ring determining an axial lengthening thereof, which transforms the raw ring into a channel having the desired final shape.

VEHICLE WHEEL HAVING A HAMMER-DEBOSSED TEXTURE
Wheels for use on vehicles and methods of manufacturing vehicle wheels are described in the present disclosure. According to one embodiment, a method includes a step of manufacturing a wheel that includes a rim, a center disk, and a plurality of spokes. The rim may include a substantially-cylindrical barrel adapted to seal a tubeless tire. The center disk may include a central bore adapted for engagement with an axle of a vehicle. Also, the plurality of spokes may be adapted to connect the center disk to the rim. The method further includes the step of deforming outwardly-facing surfaces of the spokes using one or more hammering or punching instruments.
METHOD OF MANUFACTURING HUB FOR A NON-PNEUMATIC WHEEL
A method for manufacturing a wheel hub (300) for a non-pneumatic wheel (100). A sheet (332) of material may be folded, cut, bent, and otherwise processed to form portions of the desired wheel hub(300). The wheel hub (300) may be connected with an annular band (108) through load supporting members (106) that can be selectively connected and disconnected from the hub (300).
Wheel Constructed with Hybrid Spoke Assemblies
A method of making a wheel assembly using hybrid spokes that combines a synthetic fiber cable with an outer rod segment connected to a rim and an inner rod segment connected to a hub. An anchor is used to connect each end of the fiber cable to a length of conventional rod, preferably through the use of a swaging operation. Each rod segment includes a standard end feature on its free endsuch as a threaded shaft or J-bend. The hybrid assembly can preferably be retrofitted to applications that now use a conventional rod or wire. This allows synthetic fiber cableswith their unique mechanical propertiesto be incorporated in existing designs.
