DIECASTING TOOL
A diecasting tool has an insert for producing a cooled motor housing. The diecasting tool has mould halves including: a stationary mould half; and movable mould half. One of the mould halves has a cylindrically extending annular gap having a central axis. The moveable mould half is arranged so as to be movable parallel to the central axis. The insert is arranged in the cylindrically extending annular gap. The insert is a bush. One end of the bush projects into a mould cavity, which is formed by the stationary mould half and the movable mould half, and is at least partially surrounded in a form-fitting manner by the casting material in a state when the casting material is cast.
DIE CASTING MACHINE
A die casting machine includes a clamping device 7 which opens and closes and clamps a pair of die halves, an injection apparatus which performs injection to the pair of die halves by making a plunger move forward in a sleeve communicated with a space between the pair of die halves, and a control device which controls the clamping device and injection apparatus. The control device includes an injection control part and press-use clamping control part. The injection control part controls the injection apparatus so as to start the injection in a state where the pair of die halves face each other through a gap. The press-use clamping control part controls the clamping device so that the die contact and clamping are carried out after the start of injection. Further, the injection control part performs control for decelerating the plunger before the plunger stops.
INSERT MOUNTING DEVICE
An insert (cover member) is formed of an iron-based alloy. A casting mold is constituted by a fixed mold and a movable mold. An insert housing portion (cover housing portion) for housing the insert is formed in a separation surface between the fixed mold and the movable mold, and a magnet is embedded in the insert housing portion of either the fixed mold or the movable mold. A robot grips the insert with a gripping portion (hand) to convey the insert to a position facing the insert housing portion, releases the insert at the facing position in a state where a predetermined clearance is secured between the insert and the insert housing portion, and causes the insert to be attracted to the insert housing portion by the magnet.
Casting product with tubular flow passages, method of casting the same product, and cast-in pipe insert unit
A method of casting a casting product having tubular flow passages includes: attaching a cast-in pipe insert, having outer and inner fixing members to which both ends of pipes are coupled, respectively, to a fixed mold; assembling a movable mold with the fixed mold; injecting a molten metal into a cavity defined inside the fixed and movable molds; ejecting a casting product from the assembled molds after injecting the molten metal; and removing the outer and inner fixing members from the casting product.
DIE CASTING MACHINE, DIE CASTING MACHINE EQUIPPED WITH DIES, CONTROL DEVICE FOR DIE CASTING MACHINE, AND DIE CASTING PROCESS
A gap control part controls a clamping device so that mating surfaces in a die face each other across a gap, and thereby a cavity and an external part of the die communicate across the gap. A molten metal feed control part controls a molten metal feed device so as to feed molten metal into a sleeve when the gap is being maintained. An injection control part controls an injection device so as to start a forward movement of a plunger at a time when the gap is maintained and there is the molten metal in the sleeve. A clamping control part controls a clamping device so as to make the mating surfaces abut against each other to eliminate the gap after the forward movement of the plunger is started and before the molten metal reaches a molten metal surface height at which the molten metal flows into the gap.
Casting method for forming screw hole on inclined plane of casting, and casting integrated with insert having screw thread
A casting method for forming a fastening part on an inclined plane of a casting may include mounting a plug unit including a casting plug and a screw thread insert combined with the casting plug on a movable mold or a fixed mold; performing casting by moving and combining the movable mold with the fixed mold and injecting a molten metal into a cavity formed between the movable mold and the fixed mold; performing mold opening after the casting; and separating the casting plug from the screw thread insert, wherein when the plug unit is mounted on the mold, the screw thread insert is deployed in the cavity, and a mold plane on which the casting plug is mounted forms an inclined plane having an acute angle against a horizontal plane that is parallel to a movement direction of the movable mold.
Motor plate type coil forming apparatus
A motor plate type coil forming apparatus forms a plate type coil wound on a stator of a motor by a squeeze casting method. In particular, the apparatus includes: i) a main frame including a lower frame and an upper frame; ii) a mold unit including a lower mold elastically connected to the lower frame to be movably installed in a vertical direction, and an upper mold movably installed in the upper frame in the vertical direction corresponding to the lower mold; and iii) a molten metal pressurizing unit including a plunger that is movably installed in the lower frame in a vertical direction corresponding to the lower mold. In particular, the lower mold may include a sleeve provided to be vertically coupled to the plunger, and a plurality of coil forming parts provided to form a cavity connected to the sleeve.
APPARATUS AND METHOD FOR MOLDING MATERIAL
Proposed are an apparatus for molding a material, and a method for molding a material by using the apparatus. The apparatus includes first and second fixed platens (110 and 120) provided as a pair and spaced a predetermined distance from each other by tie bars (150), a movable platen (140) movable along the tie bars (150) between the first and second fixed platens (110 and 120), a mold (200) which is provided with a movable mold (220) and a fixed mold (240) and which forms a molding space (260) that is capable of being open or closed as the movable mold (220) moves in a direction toward or away from the fixed mold (240), and a pressing block (300) selectively positioned between the first fixed platen (110) and the movable mold (220) such that the pressing block is capable of applying a pressure to the movable mold (220).
