The molding system has a first lower fixed plate on which the lower half-mold is housed, a movable plate on which the upper half-mold is housed, a second upper fixed plate positioned at the top of the movable plate, a movement group for moving the movable plate along the main axis, having an electric drive motor and transmission members operatively connected to the electric drive motor and to the movable plate, a casting ejection group having an electric ejector motor and ejection members movable by the electric ejector motor in an ejection position in which the casting is detached from the upper half-mold, and a command unit controlling operation of the electric drive motor and of the electric ejector motor.

An aluminum casting method is for pouring an aluminum molten metal (12) pumped up by an electromagnetic pump (20) into a die (50). A thickness of a powder demolding agent applied to the die (50) is set to be thinner than that of a demolding agent for a gravity die casting. A temperature of the die immediately before the molten metal is poured is controlled so as to fall within a range that is between 110° C. to 250° C. A temperature of the molten metal when poured is controlled to be a value obtained by adding 20° C. to 55° C. to a liquidus-line temperature of the aluminum.

Three-Plate Die Casting Mold Having a Sprue System and Improved Sprue Separation, and Die Casting Method

A three-plate die casting mold for producing a metal die-cast part by die casting a molten metal includes a first, second, and third mold part, where the third mold part is disposed between the first and second mold parts. Molten metal is feedable to a die cavity through a sprue system where the sprue system has a plurality of feed channels that are disposed in the third mold part and open into the die cavity. The plurality of feed channels have a respective tapering at a die cavity-side end where the respective tapering locally decreases a channel cross section such that a predetermined breaking point is generated during a die casting operation which allows a defined separation of the metal die-cast part from a sprue created in the sprue system when the three-plate die casting mold is being opened.

A method for producing a hollow article made of amorphous metal comprising the steps of: a) providing a metal composition, b) melting the composition according to step a) in order to obtain a melt, c) introducing the melt according to step b) into a cavity of a casting mold, the casting mold comprising an inner core, at least a portion of the lateral surface of the inner core being surrounded by a separation element, d) cooling the melt in the casting mold in order to obtain a molded part made of amorphous metal, e) removing the inner core and the separation element from the molded part according to step d) in order to obtain a hollow article made of amorphous metal. The present invention also relates to a hollow article made of amorphous metal, more particularly to a pipe made of amorphous metal.

An automatically-returning mold ejection device and a casting mold comprising the same. The mold ejection device includes a lower-portion part and an upper-portion part and is wherein the lower-portion part comprises returning rod ejection columns fixed to a mold rack base plate; the upper-portion part comprises returning rods corresponding to the returning rod ejection columns, the top ends of the returning rods are fixed to an ejection rod pushing plate and penetrate through an upper mold connecting plate through returning rod flanges, and a lower mold core of a mold is fixed to the mold rack base plate through a screw. An embodiment of the device has the advantages that the self-returning structure is simple, easy to install and convenient to replace and maintain, and has very good practicability.

A method of casting a casting product having tubular flow passages includes: attaching a cast-in pipe insert, having outer and inner fixing members to which both ends of pipes are coupled, respectively, to a fixed mold; assembling a movable mold with the fixed mold; injecting a molten metal into a cavity defined inside the fixed and movable molds; ejecting a casting product from the assembled molds after injecting the molten metal; and removing the outer and inner fixing members from the casting product.

An object is to provide a casting device that is capable of maintaining depressurization in a cavity. A casting device (1) is configured to move an extrusion pin (3), slidably inserted in an insertion hole (29) formed in a mold (2), into a cavity (20) in the mold to release a casted product. The casting device (1) includes a depressurized space creator (4) configured to create a depressurized space (40) on a reverse side of a cavity surface to define the cavity (20). The depressurized space creator (4) covers an opening of the insertion hole (29) to maintain depressurization in the cavity (20).

Diecasting tool system

A diecasting tool system has a machine-related base plate, at least one set of contour-imparting mould components which in an assembled position on the base plate form a casting contour for an associated cast part to be cast, and a plurality of not contour-imparting tool receptacle module components. The base plate, the tool receptacle module components and the contour-imparting mould components are configured for releasably assembling the associated set of contour-imparting mould components and an assigned set of the tool receptacle module components on a fastening side of the base plate for casting the respective cast part. The base plate on the fastening side has a fastening grid of a plurality of fastening points which are disposed so as to be distributed in a regular or irregular pattern across a fastening region. The set of contour-imparting mould components conjointly with the assigned set of the tool receptacle module components is able to be assembled on the base plate in at least two different orientations, and/or a plurality of sets of contour-imparting mould components with a respectively assigned set of the tool receptacle module components are present for selective assembling on the base plate.

One aspect relates to an injection molding system for the injection molding of amorphous metals, an injection molding unit for the injection molding of amorphous metals and an injection molding process for amorphous metals. The injection molding system includes a channel for feeding a molten metal and a slider unit including a slider and a pressure system. The slider is located between the channel and at least one injection molding cavity and is movable between a rest position and an injection position. In the rest position, the slider blocks the access of the molten metal to the injection molding cavity and in the injection position it allows the molten metal to access the injection molding cavity. The pressure system holds the slider in the rest position and allows the slider to move to the injection position when a minimum pressure is exceeded.
