VIBRATION-DAMPED HIGH-SPEED TOOL HOLDER
A high-speed tool holder includes: a tool shaft for accommodating a tool at its first end, and a machine clamping part which is integrally connected to the tool shaft and forms an interface for clamping in the machine; with the tool shaft being substantially truncated circular cone-shaped, a first diameter at the first end with the tool insertion opening being smaller than a fifth diameter at the second end at the machine clamping part; and a portion of the substantially truncated circular cone-shaped tool shaft having an outwardly bulging, preferably spherical, shape between the tool insertion opening and the machine clamping part.
Hard-material threaded connection
A hard-material threaded connection includes a structural part, which has a hard material and a first threaded portion formed in the hard material, and a component having higher elasticity that has a second threaded portion cooperating with the first threaded portion. The first threaded portion and the second threaded portion have a different thread pitch.
Cutting tool
A cutting tool including an insert and a holder to which the insert is secured. The insert has a rod with a substantially circular transverse cross-section. The insert includes a shank portion and a cutting edge portion. The cutting edge portion is located at an end portion continuous with the shank portion. In the cutting edge portion, one end of a cutting edge ridge protrudes toward the periphery of the rod. When the insert is secured to the holder, the cutting edge ridge has a negative radial rake angle.
MACHINE TOOL
The invention relates to a machine tool (1) comprising a clamping holder (10) which extends along a longitudinal axis (3) and a cutting element (20) that can be inserted into an open tool-side recess (40), which passes through the clamping holder (10), transversely to the longitudinal axis (3). The machine tool (1) has a stop (30) which is secured in the recess (40) and against which the cutting element (20) rests in the direction transverse to the longitudinal axis (3).
Clamping shank for a tool and tool comprising the clamping shank
A clamping shank for a tool for clamping the tool into a rotary driving clamping device is proposed. The clamping shank comprises a circular shank portion and a pentagonal shank portion adjoining the circular shank portion. Four contiguous side faces of the pentagonal shank portion each form an angle of 90° to each other in a plane perpendicular to the longitudinal axis of the clamping shank. A fifth side face of the pentagonal shank portion forms in said plane angles of greater than 90° with each of the adjacent side faces of the pentagonal shank portion.
HOLDER
The present disclosure improves the machining conditions and enhances the quality of machined surfaces, particularly in cutting off and grooving machining when the projection amount of a plate-like member is large. A blade, which is a plate-like member having a polygonal shape and used for cutting machining, includes: a plurality of insert pockets; and recess portions formed by partial cutting corresponding to insert pockets respectively. A holder includes: a holder main portion; and a support portion with which a part of the recess portion formed in the blade contacts. The holder is configured in which the blade can be installed in a state where the part of the recess portion can contact with the support portion.
TOOL HOLDER
The disclosure relates to a tool holder having a tool portion and a tool interface portion, wherein the tool interface portion has a lateral surface area which is of rotationally symmetrical design and extends over a predetermined axial length and wherein the tool interface portion has sections with non-round cross section.
PIN DRIVE ROTARY SURGICAL CUTTING TOOLS AND POWERED HANDPIECES
A surgical cutting tool includes an elongated shaft and a cutting head. The shaft defines a coupling portion terminating at a proximal end of the shaft, a stem portion, and a distal portion. The stem portion defines a central axis. The coupling portion optionally defines a deflection surface positioned oblique with respect to the central axis and connected with a first driven surface and a second driven surface. Upon insertion into a drive chuck, the deflection surface promotes self-alignment of the cutting tool and the drive chuck.
