RECEPTACLE FOR A ROTATING TOOL
A receptacle for a rotating tool includes a rotationally symmetrical, hollow-cylindrical receptacle main body. A through-pipe, which is braced in particular in relation to the receptacle main body, is disposed in a cavity of the receptacle main body so as to be spaced apart from a cylinder barrel of the hollow-cylindrical receptacle main body.
Oscillating multi-tool system
An accessory for an oscillating power tool that oscillatingly drives a removably attachable output element. The accessory includes an attachment portion configured to be removably attached to a housing of the oscillating power tool on a side of the output element that faces the housing. The attachment portion is at least partially annular and defines an axial opening therethrough. The attachment portion includes a circumferential inner surface defining the axial opening and a circumferential outer surface opposite the inner surface. The attachment portion is configured to snap-fit with the power tool housing.
Blade holding jig
A blade holding jig for holding a washer-type cutting blade via an annular retainer flange includes an annular flange holding portion configured to hold a first annular surface of the retainer flange under suction, and an annular non-contact suction portion arranged on an outer peripheral portion of the flange holding portion and configured to produce a negative pressure by ejection of a fluid toward the outer peripheral portion of the retainer flange held by the flange holding portion and to draw up the cutting blade toward the retainer flange. The cutting blade drawn up toward the retainer flange by the non-contact suction portion is held on the retainer flange by a suction force acting from the flange holding portion via a plurality of through holes disposed extending from a second annular surface to the first annular surface of the retainer flange.
OSCILLATING MULTI-TOOL SYSTEM
An oscillating power tool includes a housing, a motor, a tool holder driven oscillatingly, a flange threadedly coupled to a plunger, and a lever pivotable between a clamping position and a release position. The flange is configured to be movable in an axial direction. The flange is configured to clamp the output element onto the tool holder in the clamping position and configured to be displaced a first distance from the tool holder in the release position. The lever includes a cam surface including a substantially flat surface configured to engage the plunger in the release position. In the release position, a gap is disposed between the lever and the housing to allow the lever to be rotated past the release position. The lever is configured to displace the flange a second distance from the tool holder, larger than the first distance, when rotated past the release position.
Hand-held tool and clamping device thereof
The present embodiment discloses a hand-held tool and a clamping device thereof. The clamping device of a hand-held tool includes: a mounting base; a clamping unit configured to fasten a working tool in an axial direction; and an operation assembly, including an operating member and a driving member, where the operating member is capable of performing compound motion relative to the mounting base, and the operating member is operable to drive the driving member to selectively mate with and disengage from the clamping unit. In this way, the hand-held tool of the present embodiment has the clamping device. By way of compound motion, not only comfort of operation can be achieved, but also parts can be saved, thereby making the structure simpler and more reliable.
A power tool having a housing, a motor, a tool holder driven about an output axis by the motor, and an output element for performing an operation on a workpiece. The tool holder has a locating feature including a tapered portion becoming narrower in a direction away from the surface of the tool holder. The output element has an aperture for receiving the locating feature and a face facing the surface of the tool holder when the locating feature is received. The power tool also includes a flange for transferring a clamping force for urging the output element towards the tool holder and a tab projecting from the flange for finger tightening the flange. A biasing member provides the clamping force toollessly. A gap is defined between the surface of the tool holder and the face when the tapered portion of the locating feature is fully received in the aperture.
Oscillating multi-tool system
A power tool includes a housing and a motor disposed in the housing. The motor has an axial face and a motor shaft extending from the axial face. The power tool also includes a spindle driven by the motor about an output axis, a motor plate having a central opening defining an inner surface of the motor plate, and a tolerance ring coupled to the inner surface of the motor plate. The tolerance ring has deformable waves. The motor plate is coupled to the motor by engagement of the deformable waves with the motor to take up tolerances between the motor plate and the motor.
Oscillating tool accessory holder mechanism
An oscillating power tool system in one embodiment includes a motor, an output power shaft extending along an axis and operably connected to the motor, the output power shaft driven in an oscillatory manner by the motor about the axis, a flange supported by the output power shaft and fixedly positioned with respect to the output power shaft so as to oscillate with the output power shaft when driven by the motor, the flange including a lower surface defining a first plane, and a plurality of mounting pins extending from the flange to a location beneath the first plane, the plurality of mounting pins configured such that when an accessory is mounted to the flange, a mounting force is applied directly to the plurality of mounting pins from the accessory.
Cooling system and method for machine tools
A clamping system for machine tools includes a body portion configured to be received in a holding fixture of a machine, a tool holder integrally formed with and extending longitudinally from the body portion, the tool holder having a mounting mechanism on a distal end thereof for receiving a cutting tool, at least one fluid delivery vein extending through the tool holder from the body portion to the distal end of the tool holder, and at least one outlet at the distal end of the tool holder, the at least one outlet being configured to direct a fluid from the at least one fluid delivery vein toward at least one of the cutting tool and a workpiece.
