DEVICE FOR AXIAL DISPLACEMENT OF A HOLE SAW FOR A HAND-HELD DRILL
A device is for an axial displacement of a hole saw for a hand-held drill, wherein the hole saw is coupled to the drill by a drive shaft, and the hole saw and an actuator are rotatably connected and positioned in a housing with a coupling for the drill. The actuator has an outer threaded portion which corresponds to an inner threaded portion in the housing so that the actuator and the hole saw are displaced axially along the drive shaft when the actuator rotates relative to the housing. The actuator is connected to the drive shaft via a slip clutch arranged to transfer and reduce a reduced torque from the drive shaft to the actuator.
Debris Collecting System
A debris collection system for use in cutting or drilling holes in a ceiling with a hole saw. The debris collection system allows a user to avoid or limit exposure to dust and debris created by cutting or drilling overhead holes in drywall or wood. A clear rigid debris shield is temporarily attachable to the ceiling so that the user does not have to hold it in place while operating the hole saw. The hole saw is operably contained within a debris collection chamber defined within the debris shield when in use. A vacuum hose connects to a vacuum port in a cylindrical sidewall of the debris shield at one end and is attachable to a portable vacuum at an opposite end to create suction and remove debris from the debris collection chamber. A hose hanger is attachable to the ceiling between the debris shield and the portable vacuum to support the vacuum hose and keep it out of the way.
Interchangeable Drill Bit Holding Drill Head for Use with Powered Tools
The present invention relates to a drill head design for powered tools. The drill head includes a coupling portion for securely and mechanically coupling to an air-powered tool, the coupling portion has a female port for receiving the gear drive from the air-powered tool. The drill head has a chuck portion that releasably holds a drill bit for performing assembling, drilling, cutting, and more without using large and bulky drills. The drill is releasably attached to the air-powered tool and comes in a variety of shapes and sizes. The drill head is configured to convert any air-powered tool into a drilling tool and enables the users to drill faster, accommodate smaller angles, and reach into confined spaces.
Drill guide for hand-held drill
A drill guide for a drill bit of a chucked hand-held drill is disclosed. The drill guide includes a mount, a coupler, a telescoping guard, and a guide foot. The mount is configured to couple to a non-rotating portion of the chucked hand-held drill. The coupler extends from the mount and forms a chuck access window aligned with the chuck when the mount is coupled to the non-rotating portion of the chucked hand-held drill thereby allowing a chuck key to interface with the chuck. The telescoping guard extends from the coupler and is configured to telescope into a retracted position from an extended position. The guide foot is coupled to the telescoping guard such that the drill guide enshrouds the drill bit when the telescoping guard is in the extended position, and the drill bit passes through the guide foot when the telescoping guard is in the retracted position.
Drill guide for hand-held drill
A drill guide for a drill bit of a hand-held drill is disclosed. The drill guide includes a mount, a telescoping guard, and a guide foot. The mount is configured to couple to a non-rotating portion of the hand-held drill. The telescoping guard extends from the mount and is configured to telescope into a retracted position from an extended position. The guide foot is coupled to the telescoping guard opposite the mount such that the drill guide enshrouds the drill bit when the telescoping guard is in the extended position, and the drill bit passes through the guide foot as the telescoping guard telescopes into the retracted position from the extended position.
Attachment mechanism for a power tool
An accessory for use with a rotary power tool having a rotatable spindle and a first mating member. The accessory includes a housing having a body and a plurality of arms extending therefrom, a ball detent selectively engagable with the spindle to lock the accessory to the power tool, a sleeve slidable along the arms between a first position in which the sleeve biases the ball detent into engagement with the spindle to axially secure the accessory to the tool, and a second position in which the ball detent is disengageable from the spindle to release the accessory from the tool, and a second mating member coupled to the arms of the housing.
Suction-Extraction Adapter
A suction-extraction adapter for a drilling tool has a housing and a tool connection unit. The housing has a suction-extraction device interface for the detachable connection of a suction-extraction device to the suction-extraction adapter. The tool connection unit enables the axial fixing of the suction-extraction adapter on the drilling tool. The housing also has a locking mechanism. The tool connection unit is configured to be locked on the housing of the suction-extraction adapter via the locking mechanism.
ATTACHMENT MECHANISM FOR A POWER TOOL
An accessory for use with a rotary power tool having a rotatable spindle and a first mating member. The accessory includes a housing having a body and a plurality of arms extending therefrom, a hub selectively engagable with the spindle to lock the accessory to the power tool, and a sleeve slidable along the arms between a first position and a second position, where the sleeve includes a plurality of apertures through which the corresponding plurality of arms extend. When the sleeve is in the first position the sleeve locks the hub to the spindle to secure the accessory to the power tool, and wherein when the sleeve is in the second position the sleeve disengages the hub from the spindle to release the accessory from the power tool.
BLACK HAWK BUSHING REMOVAL AND REAMER DEVICE
The device disclosed herein allows a user to maintain the outboard stabilator of a Blackhawk helicopter. The device, which comprises a kit, allows a user to remove damaged outdoor stabilator bushings from a Blackhawk. Upon removal, the device enables a user to install new outdoor stabilator bushings. Additionally, the device allows a user to ream the newly installed outdoor stabilator bushings so that the outboard stabilator may be reinstalled upon the Blackhawk and safely flown.
